Because of Christmas, we are going to be short for dad's tax now (:mad:) so I think the best thing is to borrow the money from the Egg card, it's much cheaper than the overdrafts (they are 24.9%).
One step forward, three back :rolleyes:No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Current Debts are as follows...
Debts
Egg Money (7.9%) (£1k) - £784.06 -
MBNA (0% till Sep) (£4.5k) - £4,122.09
TOTAL = £4906.15
Egg have just sent their anniversary offer, now I can't move things from Egg Money directly to the Egg Card - but is there any other way around this? Do Egg Card do transfers to a current account?No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

So we can use it to pay off the Egg Money in a roundabout way and clear my brother's debt to 0% too. Finally a bit of a break throughNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Bloody MBNA, I complained that they'd changed the terms of our 0% deal after we'd started it, so they put it back to the old £5 a month payment. And now they've upped the normal APR to 29.9%
Have done the old shift, so will change that in a second, then it's just a case of topping up the Egg Money card into as much credit as possible between now and September.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Have finally got the DFD down to March 2010
This was our final deadline for the CCs as that's when my mum's loans finish (which will free up £300 per month).
That's based on a payment of £185, which is definitely possible at the moment as the £85 from mum and extras, even without dad's weekend work is enough - phew.
Now to cut it down further

Wow Gemmzie, that sounds a lot more positive than a few weeks ago when you were so worried about it all. You are doing amazing things for your family - you are really due some good karma. How are you feeling today?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

I'm still worried day to day, we're currently £200 short to pay the mortgage this month, but segregating budgets so at least some look positive helps me cope with it all

Thankfully they've changed the deadlines and it's all in at the end of term now so I have time to catch up on my work so the form doesn't need to be in for a while.
Thanks for asking honey
