Check in time. One of my son’s second birthday party on the weekend. This was a great day and all paid for with NO debit. I’m over the moon I’ve not got into debt for it. This would have been an issue before I committed to this and my recovery.30 Children attended! It was chaos but went well. Tried to manage costs but birthday parties are not cheap, thankfully I am lucky to be able to pay for it.No gambling. No urges

Early morning check in.One of my boys has been up for an hour and just about got him back to sleep.Yes his birthday party was not paid for on credit and left. We had money saved to pay it off. It was expensive but worth it.Had a nice pay day today with a hefty back pay and uplift which I can use for Xmas presents and not have to worry about paying it on credit. Going to use 50% of the extra on debt but will see how this months goes as I would like to treat my boys and wife with a few small gifts.Previously having money sat in my account would want me to gamble. I really have no desire to waste this money which is pleasing.iPhone is now cleared so an extra £62 a month from January.Feeling a bit happier this morning.LGGambling Addict - Acting now before it's too late. Also being up has reminded me of my gambling binges and playing cards for hours at night

It’s Saturday evening and I’ve just got out the elf ready with advent calendar’s and Xmas PJ’s.Things with my wife are probably the best they’ve been, I have been really open with all of my bank accounts and have showed her the CC coming down and not gambling.Coming up to 10 months now without a bet. Couldn’t be happier with that and no urges at all.
This month I will just be paying the minimum on my two cards. All loans excluding my car are now finished. Hip Hip Hurrah!I have two credit cards left. One I need to move around April time, hopefully to Lloyds or if Virgin will give me a balance transfer card.By paying the minimums frees up money for the festive period. Aim is to not use my credit card for any purchases and just one of my bank accounts. So, yeah for a gambling addict things are ok at the moment.LGGambling Addict - Acting now before it's too late.
