Really sorry to hear about your loss mate, glad you checked in and stay on the path.
  • Thanks for the messages.

I work in eduction and it was a student who passed away. All very sad.

A few NSD have been good. Just paying minimums this month on cards £50 and loans.

Put a few things on Facebook marketplace and I’m tempted to sell some of my trainer collection.

Nearly 40 years old. Not sure I need my Yeezys anymore.

How very sad that a student passed away - my condolences. It must have been a very tough week for you, your colleagues and the other students.

I feel for you my OH is a teacher and years ago we sadly we had a local incident that left the school community in bits, and is remembered now - but it did leave a stronger community around the gap which helped.

Selling the trainers sounds like a good plan - bound to be a few you are least fond off.  I'm sure there is a good market somewhere - researching that could be good for your obvious skills.  Throw yourself into it - maybe turn it into a side hustle for future income

  • Holiday was absolutely fantastic although extremely tiring.

We had a house full with 7 children. I have never cooked so much food each day!

Ireland unfortunately seems to be very expensive and we spent a considerable amount of money. However I am pleased to say this is the first time I have not got into debt…. Just about.

Still able to make an over payment of £50 to one of my credit cards.

Even better news is we can claim some funding for our youngest at nursery from September that should be a saving of at least £250 a month.

That effectively covers my loan and two credit cards and I can now put £250 additional towards payments..

However with my debt being at 0% excluding the loan we may decide to pay £100 towards our huge mortgage.
