Working at home today, and grateful for a good long uninterrupted sleep with no alarm 😊 Washing machine threw a strop this morning while I was in an online meeting 🙄 but fortunately just beeping and waving error codes round rather than leaking. We drained it and removed 26p and a small screw from the filer 🙈 and that seems to have solved the problem.
It was like some kind of extreme sport trying to wrestle the duvet cover onto the washing line 😱😂😂 thought it might have completely dried by the time I'd managed to get the pegs on, it was so windy out there and the sun is out too. Have emptied the washing basket for a second load to take advantage, and if it's still nice I might even wash a blanket or two later.
In the meantime though, work 😬

Afternoon MSE chums😊
Not much to report here. Mr C and I went out for breakfast in the sunshine - now he's gone off to a band practice, and I'm back at home, via a check up at the docs.
Currently sat on the swing seat listening to the skylarks and the pheasant 😊
I put the bath mat and shower curtain in the wash this morning, going to hang them up in a second to take advantage of the nice weather.
Much as I want to spend the afternoon in the garden (and it is my day off, and a rare day home alone), I really do need to make progress on the funding bid 😬 Hoping to have a cut off to get out here, although I note the weather is due to get worse through the afternoon so it's possible I should do it the other way round... 😬
Washing out first, and lunch, and then I'll make a decision.
