It sounds like you did well and I'm glad you enjoyed it and feel that you gave a good account of yourself.
If there are really concrete things you feel you missed in any answers (where you are absolutely kicking yourself), there's nothing stopping you sending a follow up email thanking them for their time and expanding your initial answer. Sending a follow up thank you email is a habit I got into years ago, where I also highlight where I could effectively support them. The only time I didn't was where I came away from an interview feeling utterly interrogated by the would-be line manager and decided quite quickly that I never, ever wanted to work for him as he would micro-manage me to death ... !
KKAs at 15.11.25:

- OPs to mortgage = £12,345 Estd. interest saved = £5,863 to date
Fixed rate 3.85% ends October 2030

I hope they let you know soon (and that it's the right result for you!).
Good tip on asking them what they enjoy about working there. I'll have to bear that in mind if I ever have to do another interview! Enjoy your cafe trip.6 -
It was a nice ending actually - I hadn't planned to ask it but things had ended quite quickly, and I think it was nice for them to be on the spot a bit too, felt more like a conversation. And ended on a cheerful note with everyone saying how great everything was 😂7

There's nothing concrete, I don't think. More an area where I probably have a bit less experience than they'd ideally want.KajiKita said:It sounds like you did well and I'm glad you enjoyed it and feel that you gave a good account of yourself.

Good call on a follow up email though. I haven't done that - might just drop the chair an email now saying how nice it was to meet them all and to say thank you for making the interview itself a positive experience. (Trying desperately not to overthink at this point!)8 -
Hmm, I don't have an email address for the chair, I was invited by a central team and I can't find it publicly anywhere. Found on LinkedIn, but they don't post much. Could hazard a guess at the email based on other people's but it might end up going randomly to someone else! 😂6

OK, I've done it - take a guess based on email addresses of other people in the organisation. Can't imagine it'll make much difference either way but you never know!
I should probably wend my way home at this point. I suspect the absolute earliest I'll hear anything will be 4.30pn, but I want to be at home with phone fully charged at that point. And I should probably eat something other than cake today! 😬9 -
Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you!3

Thank you Missy!
Still no word here 🙄 Mr C reckons it'll be next week now. I'm not giving up entirely til 6pm. But at this point I'm assuming they've offered it to someone else, who is taking the weekend to consider. Let's hope they turn it down and I'm next on the list 😂7
