Fire lit here. I'm trying to put off turning the stinky oil boiler on for as long as possible... however, if the sun hides for too long I'll have to give in.3

Resisting putting the heating on here. Mr BP is always cold; I'm always warm. I've told him to put an extra jumper on!

I'm the cold one round here! I've usually got a jumper on, and am always surgically attached to a hot water bottle 😂 But 12 degrees is too cold to do anything except cuddle up under a blanket and I want to do some pottering!
Been listening to a Marie Kondo library audio book in the car so all fired up for some decluttering now 😂4 -
Wood burner just being lit! 😊 🔥

Ha, it's definitely a chilly one tonight!
Having a nice clothes sort out 😊 Trying to do in batches rather than everything at once. Have sorted all my jeans/ sturdy trousers - I've still kept 14 pairs 🙈 in a couple of sizes 🙄 and will try on over the next couple of weeks to whittle down some more.
Also done a first pass of dresses, tops, cardis etc to get rid of the easiest stuff.
Most will go to the charity shop but some is just holey or painty 🙄
Feels good to be clearing stuff!6 -
Also sorted underwear and socks 😬 unfitting and saggy bras have gone (i never wore them, just never threw them out 🙄), and I finally confronted my odd socks basket - which I'd collected several months ago 🙄 Many have gone in the bin, plus some that were a pair, but were also very saggy, had tiny holes in, or were wearing very thin.
Probably tells you something about my clothes collection when I say I still have plenty 🙈😂
So. Still work to do, of course! Bin bag of stuff for the bin is tied up, and there's at least one load of washing of charity shop stuff which I'll do at some point when the weather is cooperative.
Also found a pair of trousers I'd forgotten about - I've put them aside to wear while working from home tomorrow and I'll make a decision based on that.
Phew! Nearly time for bed, I think!5
