Ooh... I'm going to guess Newcastle / Northumbria way? Some have guessed the Lakes but it is so busy here at the moment I doubt you'd get a moment's peace 😄

Evening again, thank you all for popping in and for entertaining me with your guesses!
I'm pooped tonight! No idea why, I've not even done that much today. The museum I went to had a good lot of online information so I sat and scrolled/listened to that outside until I was a bit chilly and stiff on my picnic bench, then headed inside for food. (I'll post the link to the museum once I'm home)
Up in my attic room now (pleased to report there are SOME other people here, but it's not wildly busy), been sat on the bed with my crochet and an audio bookMost satisfying.
I do have a plan for tomorrow now. I'm going to stay local, and not get in the car. I'm planning a fairly non-strenuous walk in the morning, then I'll knock about the local area and see the sights, probably taking in a cafe (it was quite busy today though, so it might be an ice cream on a bench!)
And if tonight's anything to go by, a leisurely evening in the hostel with my crochet
I did do another Prolific study though - been a bit slow lately but August is now standing at £8.50 with another £2.60 pending. Probably not going to beat the excitement of July's £40, but my accommodation for this trip was £52 so if I can make it to £12 in August, it'll cover that, which is nicely satisfying9 -
My guesses are Durham or Whitby.Mortgage start date Nov 2014 - £90,545 over 25 years
Re-mortgage Oct 2017 - 78,295 over 23 years
Re-mortgage Jan 2020 - 55,000 over 26 years @ 1.94%
Current Mortgage Outstanding Middle December 2020 - £47893.35 - a reduction of £42,652 in just over 6 years!4
