That made me smile. A premium bond win would mean I could give up and not have to move to a cheaper area.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -
In that case, your vision board needs to include your ideal location for the perfect house. Otherwise how does the house know where it needs to be?Watty1 said:That made me smile. A premium bond win would mean I could give up and not have to move to a cheaper area.5 -
Oh gosh yes, a premium bond win would be ace! 😃 but I'm not holding my breath 😂
In the meantime, a meeting finished 40 minutes early so I'm having a brief moment of sunshine on the garden swing 😊😊
Counselling tonight, then Mr C is doing a gig so I'm meeting a friend from out of town there, and staying over with another friend near work, which will at least save me driving in at 7am tomorrow. Next two evenings will need to be spent finalising the job form 😬 but that would at least be a pay rise which would result in me dropping to 3 days in a year or so 😁 a step closer to retirement!
Head feels funny today - my ears feel shut in and 'wooshy' 🙄 probably just tired, or my head's filled with too much sugar, or some visitors brought germs with them 😬
Right, best get back to it, another meeting at half 3 and I haven't got to the end of my holiday emails yet...5 -
😨 I didn't check mine once over Easter break - came back to 864 of them! - now down to 5 - some of those were read receipts from communication messages sent while I was away, that somehow came to me and not the org mailbox! I'm down to 5 that need thought and consideration!Cheery_Daff said:....I haven't got to the end of my holiday emails yet...4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Your birthday weekend sounds fab @Cheery_Daff! All this wild talk of improbable amounts of cupcake reminds me of a former colleague who made 150 of the choccie variety. Went out, didn't close kitchen door and got back to find no cupcakes but a very poorly dog. He survived, who knows how...5

Oh dear! Mine wasn't quite that bad - fortunately work itself was shut for quite a few of the days I was off, and many of my colleagues took a fortnight off too, so pretty quiet thankfully.rtandon27 said:

150 cupcakes?? Crikey, that would make anyone sick, let alone chocolate ones in a dog 😬
Well, I have discovered part of the reason I was feeling rough yesterday. Ended the day feeling like I was wading through treacle, and realised as I was rummaging through my washbag at friend's house that I haven't been taking enough thyroxine tablets for the last few days 😬 normally I take 150mcg, and have a packet of 100, packet of 50. Apparently since I picked up my prescription I've been taking 2 50s, so that's several days of two thirds of a dose 😬
I don't have a thyroid at all so no wonder I was starting to feel a bit ropey. The weekend was tiring but I was proper knocked out by yesterday evening.
Anyway, I'll top myself back up over the next few days and endeavour not to let that happen again! Goodness knows what I was doing (I take them last thing at night so once I've opened the two identical packets I don't usually check, just take one from each)
