Lovely day so far 😊 11 for lunch 😮, then once there were only 2 left, another 2 arrived. Only those 2 left now, and Mr C has had to go out for a few hours so we're having a gentle few hours of clearing up and some wholesome tea 😊
Borrowed 2 gazebos from the Library of Things for £4 each. First one is up (no instructions or pegs 😂) and it's so huge I didn't even bother with the second (which describes itself as a 'plug in gazebo' 🤔) Might have to put that up tomorrow just to see how it works! 😂8 -

Thank you for all your kind birthday wishes 😊🥳 I had a lovely weekend. There were 23 people here over the course of the weekend (not all at the same time!) and for the most part it was relaxed and cheerful and everyone got along 😊
Food worked pretty well too, mostly we just had a selection of bread, salad, cheese, hummus etc, plus there was a bit of soup and pasta. I made a meal for the 2 friends who stayed on Saturday night, and we concocted a platter for the two who turned up at 6pm on Sunday.
Gosh. Tired now though. From about 12pm on Saturday til 9pm yesterday there were people here, and I was talking pretty much constantly 😬😂 Feel like I need a week off to recover!
Very pleased I kept on top of washing up and tidying as we were going along though, so I've got up this morning, the kitchen is clean, my study is ready to work in, the gazebos are down and ready to go back to the library. All good.
Just need to get my act together to stop avoiding starting work 😬12 -
