Kwik Fit Service... Overcharging

"Ok, so £12 each. How much for fitting? "The bill states "Unit Charge". To me that is £28 each. Fitting extra. However, at £112 total and £48 retail for four, that's £64 to change them, if labour is included in the £112. Less than £12 for them to buy. For a 15 minutes simple job on a Yaris, really?

It's all to do with the way Kwikfit charge.
There is the Full Service at £190.50 and then underneath that is the oil and filters but there is no cost associated with the oil and filters apart from the £190.50.
The £190.50 is what they have charged to supply and change the oil and filter plus reset the service light.
Same with the spark plugs.
Their invoice marks them down as £28 each to supply and fit.
There is no labour on the invoice for the service anywhere, it's all built into those particular entries.
Everything has a unit price that includes the labour rather than a list of part prices and a labour cost added.
If you wanted to try and work out what the charge for labour is, then you'd need to work out what they likely paid for the parts and subtract that from the total.
If Kwikfit did pay £11 each for the plugs they have charged £68 for fitting all four.
