Deliberately entering a vehicles make instead of VRN is by no means a ‘keying error’.0

I missed that, where please?Whatever2023 said:Deliberately entering a vehicles make instead of VRN is by no means a ‘keying error’.Why does your fellow member's equipment allow a vehicle's make rather than VRM to be entered? Doesn't make any sense, unless of course it opens up the opportunity to penalise? Is this what 'fair car park management' is all about for your fellow members? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

You have 5 mins at that car park to pay. I entered, discovered the cash machine wasn't working, went to get my phone, tried to download an app, tried to navigate an app that was crashing. The page that asks for car details on the app is misleading and under pressure - I have ADHD and this has been mentioned in court I made the error. This error was shown at the first appeal with evidence I had made payment for the time I had parked and why the error had been made.Whatever2023 said:Deliberately entering a vehicles make instead of VRN is by no means a ‘keying error’.

The other part is the judge made no reference to the second point of appeal at any point in the hearing. I suppose that will come up when they view the transcript0

Accidently entering a vehicle's make instead of VRN is a "keying error."Whatever2023 said:Deliberately entering a vehicles make instead of VRN is by no means a ‘keying error’.
The point is that if the IPC and its members were serious about the moral duty of parking operators to install typo-proof machines (the IPC's own words), they would install the technology currently available to prevent either a deliberate or accidental keying error.
The International Parking Community (IPC) on X: "@_TheIPC's mantra is that no motorist should be marginalised - or humiliated! (See news article below) @_TheIPC's award nominated "Get Your Reg Right" campaign urges the manufacture of #typoproof #parking payment systems as a moral duty. #mondaythoughts https://t.co/izGqyc1wO0 https://t.co/ztH9lbYpX2" / X (twitter.com)
Mister Hurley previously stated that his aim is for 100% compliance from motorists. Carrying out the much vaunted moral duty of installing typo-proof machines would go a long way towards mister Hurley's ideals.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
