I have had 6 emails requesting feedback in a matter of 1 and a half weeks! She is bugging me enough to actually leave a neutral!! The reason I haven't yet left anything is simply as I haven't had the time to log on!!!! and to find my email swamped is annoying!!

I know feedback isn't compulsory, but I do always leave it when I get time!! ........What d'ya think I should put?????icon10.gificon8.gificon9.gificon5.gif

NEGATIVE - go on, teach her a lesson, have they left you on? Seriously maybe leave a neutral and put something about the 6 e-mails in there. If I don't get feedback within about 2 weeks I send a nice polite e-mail, along the lines of everything OK, etc etc and if they don't leave any after that I forget about it.

I do the same. Its amazing the amount of people who dont actually leave any feedback at all.

A nicely worded neutral along the lines of 'here is the feedback you asked me for'.

My daughter recently sold two items on Ebay and sent emails saying "please let me know if everything is ok" and left positive feedback for them. To date she has had no reply and they have left no feedback. She sent an email asking again if they were happy with the transaction and if they can leave positive feedback if so or email if not. She still has had no reply. It is quite annoying when you don't get feedback from someone who you have left good feedback for. So I wouldn't necessarily leave this person a neutral.

My daughter wants to email them again but I said not to in case she annoys them, but it really is unfair when she had left them good feedback.

In this case, I would email the person and say how annoying it is that she sent so many emails and that you are considering leaving a neutral because of the nuisance. This should worry her and perhaps stop her doing it to someone else. Then leave her a positive. After all, the transaction itself was good wasn't it?

What if.........like me..........you haven't logged on for ages and when you do all the nagging emails come at once?? the ones I have say "feedback???.......please" I think that is just rude!! some of them just say feedback??????

After a sale if you are so desperate for feedback!! then the best way to do it is to send 1 polite email saying "hope everything was ok with your item I look forward to receiving your positive feedback. Any problems then please email me............." something like that would be ok!!

Asking for feedback, however politely is asking for trouble. If a buyer thinks the transaction went well they will leave feedback, if they don't leave feedback asking them to do so is a bad move.

I have purchases in the past which I was not 100% happy with, yet I didn't feel I was justified in leaving neutral or neg feedback as my 'problems' were niggly things and probably just me being difficult. In those cases I chose not to leave any feedback at all, if I was asked to leave feedback then I would probably leave a neutral along the lines of 'ok but slow to post' or 'ok but poor packaging' or whatever.

    Oh come on!

You've had time to log in to your emails 6 times. You've had time to log in to this forum and post (more than once). And yet you haven't had time to leave feedback! What, you can't spare 20 seconds?

What possible justification could you have to leave a negative "or leave her to sweat" and then give her a neutral?

The woman's been a bit of a pest but I assume the sale went through OK and she left you a positive. Seems to me you're being unreasonable.

Why don't you just send an email reply, explaining what you have told us...that you always leave feedback as soon as you have time to use Ebay and will be doing so in due course. You could somehow refer to the high number of emails so she gets the point. Personally, I don't like it either when people 'ask' for feedback, but I think it would be unfair to leave a neg if the rest of the transaction was OK.Perhaps the seller genuinely doesn't realise how annoying they're being.

Or if you can't resist leaving a neutral/ neg, at least say why in the comment box...don't just say 'here's your feedback'..they won't know what they've done to upset you.
