No worries. My suggested wording covers this.  A landlord is not a MA, so it isn't misleading.

They've not checked at all before litigation and the DVLA is a red herring because they are not allowed to check again with the DVLA. My wording also more than covers that and the fact not doing a soft trace (costs from 28 pence to do it in bulk) is a CPR and CoP breach.

More important than the above are your answers to this and changing the quoted CoP completely, if it's an IPC parking firm:
I suggest adding something like this (put right any factual mistakes) and attach evidence of your move (utility bill etc.), and your email exchange about trying to get a permit

and a link to the BPA CoP 2020 - v8 - of the PPC is a BPA AOS member.  See below.

Which PPC?  If it is NOT a BPA AOS member you must change para 11 below completely, to cite the equivalent clause that you can find in the IPC CoP instead.

Which solicitors filed the claim?  DCB Legal?
It’s the beautiful MP and yes DCB, I’m hugely appreciative of this, so the wording as it is ?
    Who are they?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

To find out when a vehicle's Registration Document (V5c) was last updated, look at the document itself.

Look for the Doc Ref number. There is a date following it.

On my V5c it's at the bottom of the second page in a box headed "Official use only. Do not write in this space".

The first line format is an eleven digit Document Reference Number followed by a dd mm yy date.

That is the date that your V5c was last updated.

I bought a new (not new, different vehicle in August 2023 and registered to my new address.  I'm struggling a bit with some paperwork atm, i'm trying slowly to dry out stuff,  as I was flooded, quite badly Jan 2024, Storm Henk couple of days before I found out about this.  Had a foot of water in my home and forced to leave for two weeks, so was trying, badly perhaps, to work full time, get water and electricity back in my home and put my WS statement together. was back in with just water and electricity, no heating :-(, hot water or flooring as it all had to come up.  I'm aware that its 22 days between being aware and filing with courts, can I put this in my WS ? MP have picked their timing beautifully !!!!

    You don't need breathing space.

Use the wording I gave you and don't delay and don't refer to 22 days.  I wrote it to be vague about the January date.

You acted promptly anyway; after all you sought advice first and obtained info from the CNBC too.

Stressing times due to mailing issues ?? (and flooding) You may wish to consider supporting this

So many people don't receive 1st and/or 2nd pcn but the £170 payment due letter often manages to drop through letter boxes. PPCs always claim discounted/full rate pcns/court claim letters were sent as dated though they offer no evidence to prove this.

Since they CHOOSE NOT to provide evidence of their posting we must continue to press gov to ensure they do and see it included in the new Parking CoP. Please sign/share @jmccabe petition closes 22nd june 2024.

Hello all I had another visit from HCEO yesterday who are denying BS sent to them, went to courts my N244 application has been sent to and they contacted HCEO and advised to stop action.  My questions are given my original N244 Is sitting in CNBC mail box as previously advised by CNBC, which at the time I wasn’t aware of solicitors and HCEO, I didn’t serve this on either.  Courts advised yesterday they will need to wait for files to be transferred from court issuing Writ, so:

    1) Do I need to serve my N244 on solicitors and HCEO, or wait for courts to do that once N244 processed ?

    2) Given HCEO was aware of BS (phoned and emailed first officer) they verbally denied BS and then refused to confirm they have now got it….. because of BS do I need to send this to them ?

    3) how long for courts to receive files and process ?

Sorry for silly questions and huge thanks to @coupon_2_mad for helping me to rewrite N244, thank you

Hate to ask but what do you mean by 'BS'?!

       :)

As you are still getting HCEO visits why not email over everything to the solicitors and DCB Ltd (the HCEOs) this weekend, and tell them this is harassment and to cease and desist?

Did you send the CNBC & High Court a WS signed and dated exactly as I wrote for you, and with that exact evidence I suggested?

Yes you MUST serve all that to the solicitor too.  Tell them to call their dogs off.
