evening all! Well be an exciting day in ISOM land!! When my mm was looking after me she said she would like to go on a tv prog (on the beeb!) so thinking it would be nice applied & got a call today to say that we're on!! We get interviewed initially (to check we're not dolally?!! oops wont be on then!!) then two more days for buying & selling!! Sounds fun!! Mum v. excited and me too!! Must stop eating cake so my !!!! can diminish by the time we're on!!
Celebrated with a chinese (not as nice as home cooked now!) and fed my piggy another £6 (keep getting £2 coins!!). Have got Friday off (yahoooo!!) and will just do lots of lovely chilling, tapestry and my cj! Bliss!

i love the birds, thicko question alert - is it tapestry or cross stitch? it just looks so fine.

I'm assuming Pap has received her cj, i know my sis posted it first class on monday. I worked on yours on saturday which i'm pleased with, i just need to do the sign in page.

At my sister's craft night on tues i started working on my guest book, i'll finish it at the next meeting but i really love it, i'm so pleased with it. I'll be showing it off everywhere once it's finished, and it certainly hasnt cost me £15 which is what i saw one on sale for somewhere.

    HI LT,
Yes PAP has had the CJ so we should now be back to normal schedule! WIll probably do mine this weekend! The birds one is a cross stitch - William morris but mine says "Peace be in this house" on it so extra special - I'll pst a piccie when its all framed up as they look nicer then!
Manic day yesterday in work & stressful, to the point I have a migraine today. I did have 1/2 bottle of wine (not finished it which is MAJOR for me) but was so tired that I was in bed by 10...
Oo do post piccies of the guest book! I may have an order for a piggie so am going to start one off just in case. I did debate putting them on ebay & seeing of it sold. What do pepys think? I recon it should be for £10 as it costs about £5 to make with glue (I dont like using flour as it stinks!), paint, stickers & eyes plus takes about 2 weeks to make...
Goint to have a nice chilled day & hope to go for a run if migraine lifts...I really want to get going now & loose a stone by the time of TV appearance. QUite a good incentive! Plus we have a irl in work getting married in August so want to wear something nice for that. My double chin has reemerged so time to ditch that! Had a hair cut last night & quite pleased with it! He's a sweetie but so popular that you have to book weeks in advance!!

  • isom, I will buy a piggie from you... I think £10 is quite cheap really, its worth a try anyways. If you list one the weekend its free listing so you really have got nothing to lose then :)

What sort of TV programme is it?
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.
