hi just thought i'd up date my sister put her cj in the post on time, she didn't have time to do her layout but wanted to make sure it was on time. She's been having to do 12 hrs shifts at work to cover for her friend which has mixed well with being a mum of 4!
Mine will be passed along to her tomorrow when i bob over and help her tackle her garden (weather permitting). No point posting when she's only 10 miles away and i was seeing her anyway so we're going to be mse and share the cost of the journals she has to post onwards.
Hope you're all enjoying it, i think we're both worried that we're too beginerish and will fall short of your standards.
  • umm...I dont think I've set standards have I?!! Its about personal expression rather than technique & I certainly wouldnt criticise anyones artwork, ever! Re posting befroe doing the DLO I think its worth mentioning for all that its better to delay a few days & do the layout than post "blank" IYKWIM as its hard for people following on with blank pages but whats done is done. These things always take time to settle into so people just do your best & try & enjoy it!! Its not meant to be a chore or stressful!! Enjoy the garden! I have some time planned at the allotment when I'm off as its a tip at the moment & I'll get evicted at this rate!!!

Believe me - they are all very different - from seeing ISOM's and mine, they couldn't be more different! And therefore all the more fabulous. I began to think like that Lemon tree, but actually I think the different styles (like my simple ones lol!!) will look really good next to more complex/different ones and am really looking forward to seeing what you all add to it :)

I will be sending mine Mon to you LT and I don't think I can find a photo of me for my signing in tag before then, but I can always add it later!

argh didn't realise there was supposed to be a photo of me on the signing tag!!!!!!!!!! Runs screaming for the hills!!!!!

I think my sister was just worried that she would let people down but i'll tell her next time (which won't be needed) that she can wait, this was just exceptional. I think if she has to do another 2 weeks of 12 hr shifts again she'll end up having a breakdown!

I like the fact that these are so small, it means i'm not faced with a huge scary piece of blank paper, i tend to freeze when that happens!

ISOM i'm still considering the allotment so should have a chat with you when you're free.
