  • Morning all...just a quikie pop in before off to see my friend. Then to the gp and babysitting tonight. Flat still looks a mess but will take a few days to get it back to "normal" and trying to be chilled that it wont be finished for another week or so...taking boxes to a friends on Monday so clutter will be goneish by then...Problem with such a small flat is that there really isnt room for leeway...Alfie doing well...being a good boy and not pulling the stitches which is good. No antibiotics LT- just a dose of painkiller with syringe each am. As for being jealous - seriously its a tip plus have had major hyperventilations that it went from an estimated 100 to 300 to do it - not good so close to Christmas and I hardly dare look at the cc balance! Funny how times change - wouldnt have batted an eye lid before!!

Here be the wee munchkin (posted with mummies permission) who has been gving lots of cuddles today! Bless him he was a bit windy and unsettled but managed to let mummy have a snooze on the sofa and taught her how to do cross stitch so was at least useful. Just off to finish painiting and then off babysitting. Just wanted to share the little cutie with you!!

  • He is a sweetie isnt he eh! Despite my plan not to do housework I could no longer cope with the fact that I live in an absolute tip so popped into town this am to get beads and came straight back and then did the housework, tidied and cleaned the zoo and then watched the first "the barrister" that I caught yesterday while babysitting. Its really interesting! Tonight will be face pack, nails and making beady things! Bliss....
Bob looked at one of your tests and it said that I was a pessimist which really surprised me as am generally optimistic! Questions were quite odd though! Hope youre all ok...will catch up in a bit!

I wouldn't read anything into them, i am quite the pessismist at times then optimistic at others..I don't know how they compile the questions either:confused: see the pessimist in me is coming out again:rotfl:

hi ISOM, the builder is arriving tomorrow to start the bathroom - yay! but i'm not looking forward to the mess. But it will be worth it in the end.
This weekend the bedroom has gone from mess, to war zone to semi war zone. It's also starting to look like a bedroom now. The air has been blue with me having to try and put together mechano shelving units on my own as OH was working, it's ripped my poor hands to shreds and then ended up being 2" too long. Which is weird as i measured the space at least 3 times.
No wonder you've been enjoying hugs with the little one he's very cute.
  • hello me lovelies - back from a nip to Heathrow for W...decided while in arrivals that its possibly one of my fave places - love people watching as they arrive to love and hugs and then did a bit of hugging myself!
Hugs coming to lt...all I can say is that it will be worth it in the end...repeat after me! As for shelving - hate stuff like that! Piccies attached for you bob plus one of Alfie the cute that I located while looking through camera - I mean how was I meant to resist that eh!! Re the quiz...dont worry I dont hold much into most as am relatively self aware and know that I am optimistic most of the time but can lack confidence...Anyway here ya go. The photo doesent do the color justic as it looks lighter but actully looks a darker grey - if you look on the prev link thats more like it! As for whether I like it - I love it!! Definately "me" plus it has been decluttered and is more of a haven than it was...floor is colder though but looks better (slate effect). Handyman will come this week to finish up and put hanging candle up, loo roll holder, finish floor and voila...a bathroom in numerous easy steps!
Last day off tomorrow before back to w*** but have a friend coming for lunch and seeing another in the eve...re the photos of the crafty stuff I put it on weezles thread so pop over and peek there - didnt want to clog two pages with numerous photos!!

PS should point out that clarins stuff on the shelf is over two years old and wont be replaced lol!! No WAY I would spend that now!!
