Hi ISOM hope your day going well.

RE bathroom I havent looked at the links but what about a feature wall with a strong colour on and then the rest a more subtle matching shade? I love strong colours too (get it from my Mum!) and usually go too bold.

Glad to hear your friend is happier. A happy baby is such a lovely sound and their gorgeous smiles. Ill have to go see my latest neice born last week and see if her Mummy is ok.

Evening all...well bathoom clearish but some to do tomorrow. The room is 1/2 tiled with ight tiles and ceiling will be white so think I can just about pull it off...we shall see! Alfie off to have his bits chopped tomorrow and meeting decorator here at 9.20...

aww thanks for remembering bob...the alf is very sore and I spent 300 today eeeeeekkkk!! Paid the decorator/handy man, paid for paint and vets pus the ast bits for my beaing presents so hopefully i'll be able to make most of my pressies now...
Alfie went in this am, very subdued and uncle d the vet looked after him well and even made sure he did the op himself! bless! Keeping an eye on him as hes licking his stitches. They couldnt get the bit down by tugging so had to do proper abdominal surgey so hes got half a tummy of stiches and obviously v. sore but got lots of painkillers for him. Hes going to be in with me tonight as a treat and the others can stay in here...
Bathroom more expensive than anticipated as the flooring needs another pack - due to being about a foot short which is v. annoying! Thankfully its only 27 a pack...decotaring slow but tomorrow will be sent painting and hopefully at least will get that bit done...hope youre all well..am of to bed as shattered...

evening all...well so uch to a week off...could do with another one!! Bathroom is well on the way and I love the cols! Just another coat of gloss to put on before I go to bed and then tomorrow man is coming to rehang cupboards, do floor and put shower screen back on, tile end etc...he'll also do the gutterig outside. Today was spent with my friend getting her a tapestry to do and will give her a lesson on /friday. Think I have now got all my bits for christmas presents and now just have to make them...have warned people that gifts will be small but with love!
Alfie on the ment but peeing everywhere. Puss cats dont like change and all of them are unsettled with stuff everywhere so knew it was coming but loathe cleaning it up...am ok but shoulder killing me and feel behind on what I wanted to get done this week - havent been to the allotment once (main plan for having wk off was that and my friend but bathroom took over...) and also havent seen my age concern lady but have decided that Sat will be my day off - no housework and may be decadent and go to cinema in the afternoon which is one o my cheap but heavenly things to do! Babysitting Fri so thats good as extra dosh needed! Bathroom cost 300 all in all (man and flooring being main costs) but will be worth it - looking gorgeous already! Will upload piccie when done...off to catch up and the make a bracelet - I hope!!

aww i feel sorry for him,but at least he is managing as it were. Glad to see bathroom coming along and hopefully you will be able to have bath in luxurious surroundings.

glad to hear Alfie is on the mend bet it's fun getting antibionics into him (if you have to i did with my girls after their op)
I'm so jealous that you're getting your bathroom done. we're a bit closer - have a quote from the builder for his daily rate and discussed what we want a bit more. He's popping back sunday morning with the sparky so hopefully we can start the ball rolling then, he says he can get it done by christmas but i guess it depends how long it takes to get the bath suit delivered.
