G24 parking charge for overstaying AND hire car company admin charge

@Umkomaas Thank you for the reassurances

Just called the car hire company, they were really helpful. They sent all the docs to G24 earlier in March, so this recent letter is G24's mistake. The lady I spoke to was very confused as to why the recent letter is addressed to me. It's almost like G24 have already put the liability in my name before they should have.
Anyway I'm going to sit tight and see what happens next. Thank you all for the advice and reassurances.1 -
This is exactly the kind of confusion that you are relying on to overcome the PCN. In 99.9999% of PCNs involving a hire/lease car, the unregulated private parking company screw up the process. They fail to include all the documents as required by PoFA and so they cannot rely on PoFA to hold the hirer liable.
Just get on with your busy life and wait until they screw it up. Don't assist them in getting it right.2 -
I don't think you should sit tight. I advised you what to do.ImOffToTheTip said:@Umkomaas Thank you for the reassurances
