Hello,
Been a vodafone customer for many years and it's served me well, especially with regards to network coverage. However there are some times, when the signal is not great or non-existent completely - especially around airports. Since I have a 2-sim iphone (vodafone is on a e-sim). I was thinking of an additional payg/pay monthly data only sim as a 'backup' for times when the signal on vodafone is not great.
Iphone has a feature of 'automatic mobile data switching' for dual sims...so i was planning on using that feature.
I know giffgaff use o2 - so I was thinking about getting that one.
Any other networks/providers you would recommend to complement vodafone so I get max coverage throughout the country ?

Thank you in advance for your responses.

Funnily enough I haven't come across many providers who would 'compliment vodafone'.

"Complement refers to something that completes something else, while compliment has branched off to mean a remark "especially in the form of admiration, esteem, or approval," such as when paying someone a compliment for an achievement or for how they look."

I have a free RWG Sim to access EE for this purpose, I don't think the free ones are available now, but they still have some cheap options for the backup.

Just before I close this discussion, I wanted to update on my decision.
So i went with a EE backed network (CMLink) with their 18£/yr/12GB data option.
which suits very well in my use case as I only need it when my vodafone signal is weak/non-existent.

Chose CMLink because only 1PMobile, Popit and CMLink are the ones who use the B20 Band (VolTE) of EE (RWG do not have access to that band) which gives you data even in hard to reach places (provided you have a VolTE enabled phone, which most modern iphones are)

CMlink also have other monthly options which are very competitive, but for me a yearly 18£ was enough.

Thank you all for your inputs, I really appreciate it.
