Indeed, and when combined with bus pass many exciting itineraries to be had.
Seems a little unfair that my brother in London got free travel when he was 60 but I'll have to wait until 67.

Especially when you consider many spoons are within easy walking distance of each other in the capital.

A few ideas here for you!

If it’s a grey winter day, the time might be spent mostly plotting and planning, catching up on films & various series.
For us, much of February was around seeing a bunch of comedy at the Leicester Comedy Festival - some very funny acts: one week saw us out 5 nights in a row….on the 6th day we slept!
Much of them were seen with various pals, which meant good banter/ale/food also enjoyed: highly recommended 🤣👍
Leicester also have regular ‘history’ cycle tours round the City….I joined one recently about Joe Orton: a very interesting day, & we also went in some cool architectural buildings (learned more about the Pork Pie library, Leicester Uni special reading room exhibits) 💪

    Plan for tomorrow, enjoy today!

@cfw1994 yes, good point - I should have perhaps added to my previous "embrace the mundane" post that when the weather does improve I do get moving a bit more - have a lockdown garden bar that needs some TLC, plus holidays to Dublin, Corfu and Benidorm in November for the Fancy Dress fiesta (not everyone's cup of tea admittedly) plus have Clinton Baptiste booked in April (he's the dodgy medium from Phoenix Nights - so I suppose it's not all couch surfing  :D
