Living in a bit of a building site right now but have made some brilliant progress and the spare bedroom looks beautiful and refreshed. I slept in there last night and had the best night sleep I've had in ages.

Managed to sell my wardrobe for £50 on Marketplace, so super pleased with that. Bought some paint for the bedroom and taps for the bath from Marketplace and saved myself about £60. Had a lovely drive out to the Wye Valley to collect my taps and so wish that I could go on holiday right now.

Just getting the hang of my new job, it's in retail which I have never done before. Been the NHS for several years which pays double the amount of pay but comes with double the stress. Going to keep going with what I'm doing but not sure what to do for the best in the long run as I am not sure that I would be able to port my mortgage on my current earnings. 

In frugality mode on the food front, picked up a 2good2go deal on the app a few weeks ago so made a chicken curry for dinner last night which was not bad at all.
