Countrywide Parking Management - PCN issued while parked on my land

Ok, do I then send the LBA just to the PPC or to the management company as well ?0

I'd do both, rattle the MC cage as well, saying that you will pursue them as Joint Defendants. There is no cost to issuing a LBA, no risk, and you do not have to follow it through (with no need to inform them that you are no longer proceeding). Remind them you have 6 years in which to commence litigation, and will do so without any further warning. Let them do all the sweating.baart77 said:Ok, do I then send the LBA just to the PPC or to the management company as well ?You can find example/template LBAs via Google - the CAB has one on its website. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I've asked for a £1000 for each of the three torts, but I was willing to pay the higher court cost. I'm also in some of my arguments asking the court to consider an exemplary quantum in the judgement as this is the PPCs line of business so it should know the law and stick to it.Coupon-mad said:
£300 because that's the highest you can ask for with a £35 fee. Pointless cutting it to less.baart77 said:
So how do I determine what to ask for ? If I say £250 the court will not offer more I guess, but don't want to go too high as that could look ridiculous[Deleted User] said:They already got the keeper data without any good reason, and typically if it goes to court that would be £750 compensation.8 -
Ok, so the plan then would be:
1. Contact the PPC and the MA to get the ticket cancelled
2. Once they cancel, which in itself if I understand correctly will be an admission of guilt, send them both the LBA
3. If they don't pay take it to court
Would I gain anything by using solicitors for sending the LBA? I have seen a few that offer this kind of service for £5 ? Would it look more serious?

I'm not sure cancelling is necessarily an admission of guilt. It could be argued as a goodwill gesture.

Do you have legal cover on your home insurance policy? They can send a LBC.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
