Just to clarify things, this is what I referring to, which was in the email I received yesterday.
' After checking our records, we can tell you that we did pay a discretionary commission to the dealer. We'll treat your email as your complaint'
I'm not saying there will be anything repaid to us, but it's just a waiting game until decisions are made by the FCA.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

I have sent e mail off today using Martin's template. Will I need more details to process a possible claim. I'm sure the finance was j6st Citroen car finance? Shoukd I try the bank? But it's 13 years ago? Thanks for any help0

Hi,
Yesterday I used the template to send an email to commissiondisclosure@stellantis-finance.com regarding the finance for my Citroen C2 back in 2013.
I received two automated emails back straight away, one said that they would be in touch in due course and thanked me for my email. However the second email, which arrived simultaneously, said that they had checked their records and that no discretionary commission was paid.
I have no problem accepting that this is true I don't understand how they could have checked so quickly. I was wondering if anyone else has had this type of immediate reply.0 -
