Citroen - Reclaim Car Finance

That wording sounds more like it. (although technically, a reduction in commission to get a deal through or a vehicle promotion would also say they paid a discretionary commission). Now you sit back and wait a year and hope the court cases don't result in appeals that could see it pushed back even further.carolt2 said:Thank you for your replies.
Just to clarify things, this is what I referring to, which was in the email I received yesterday.
' After checking our records, we can tell you that we did pay a discretionary commission to the dealer. We'll treat your email as your complaint'
I'm not saying there will be anything repaid to us, but it's just a waiting game until decisions are made by the FCA.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

Hi,
Yesterday I used the template to send an email to commissiondisclosure@stellantis-finance.com regarding the finance for my Citroen C2 back in 2013.
I received two automated emails back straight away, one said that they would be in touch in due course and thanked me for my email. However the second email, which arrived simultaneously, said that they had checked their records and that no discretionary commission was paid.
I have no problem accepting that this is true I don't understand how they could have checked so quickly. I was wondering if anyone else has had this type of immediate reply.0 -
Not hard to write a script/ create a bot that takes information out of a templated letter and query a db with it.sheppy66 said:Hi,

Hi All
Did anyone receive compensation who had an agreement with Citroen finance? If you did was this from Stellantis finance?? Thank you0 -
Unless you got in before it became trendy it's unlikely anyone is settling complaints whilst the FCA has put complaint handing on hold.Pepperminttea20 said:Hi All
