Citroen - Reclaim Car Finance

Has anybody found a contact email address for Citroen Finance?
On the confirmation that the finance was closed letter, the email address listed was ukcustomerservices@mpsa.com. I sent the email to this address a week ago but have had no reply yet.
In addition, I also emailed the new citroen finance company STELLANTIS FINANCIAL SERVICES UK LTD via ccare@stellantis-fs.com. They have responded requesting more details but need a current agreement number in the required information; which I do not have!
Onfortunately the finance was taken out more than 7 years ago, so there is no information on the credit hstory.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards
ZZZAK

I have done the same:
I found that it was Citroen Financial Services to start off with, and later changed to PSA.Not sure if any of this is of help to you, however in case it does:Replies from:
Bristol St. Motors (who I purchased the car from): that our obligatory data retention period is 6 years and as per Martin Lewis guidance, You should refer to their historic bank statements, or contact your bank, who may be able to support in the first instance.
We would be unable to check which finance companies were used before 2018 due to not holding data from that far backInfo as per GOOGLE: Is PSA Finance now Stellantis?Who are we? Stellantis Financial Services was born in 2023, combining the activities of PSA Finance, Vauxhall Finance and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Automotive Services to create one company, as part of a joint venture with BNP Paribas.Stellantis Financial Services site led me to - support-stellantisfs@gardxgroup.com: 1st reply: Our team is currently reviewing your message, and we will get back to you in due course with a response. Please be assured that your request is important to us, and we are committed to providing you with the best assistance possible.support-stellantisfs@gardxgroup.com: 2nd reply/followup: Regrettably, you have reached GardX, the administrators of cosmetic repair insurance on behalf of Stellantis. Our department does not manage or provide any financial services for Stellantis, selling dealers, or their customers.
For the information you seek, we recommend referring to your dealership, reviewing the paperwork from your finance agreement signed at the point of sale, or checking your bank statements to identify the company to which you are making payments.
We regret that we cannot assist you further with this matter and hope for a swift resolution to your concerns.
My final thoughts were to contact Citroen Direct
Citroën UK Customer Care: citroen_uk-en@my-customerportal.com: Thank you for your request, which we have received.
We will review this and will contact you as soon as possible.
If you would like to add further comments to your request, please reply to this message, taking care not to change the subject of the email.
Sincerely, Best regards, Citroën Customer Care: STILL WAITING for reply
I don't know what's nest in this situation, as I'm sure Citroen are going to deny their involvement, as Stellantis has taken over from PSA who took over from Citroen Finance!0 -
@ZZZAK Experian and Equifax should hold credit history for 7 years from the date the account closes not when it starts. If you have only looked at one credit bureau try the other and get the full report as this may show more than the apps. Another option to get an agreement number is you could look at / request older bank statements for the current account you made the payments from. Stellantis may well still hold your info but archived under the agreement 6 years after the account closed (which they are allowed to do) and itemised bank statements can go back as far as 2001 or beyond and will usually have the agreement number as the payment reference. DSAR / requests to LBG can get itemised back to 2001 but I am unsure on the retention for itemised accounts for other banks. Another tip if you cant get the agreement number would be to respond back with the information you can get from the list, prev names, addresses, the name and address at the time of sale, the registration plate (inc prev if changed during ownership) etc. as they may still be able to find you. With Stellantis definitely make it clear this is a Citroen Finance account as some lenders are directing people to contact the specific part of the group despite merging as their records are separate still (Vauxhall Finance, PSA etc.) Best of luck! Let us know how you get on0

These comments have been really helpful. I have no record of the finance company I paid for my Citroen and the dealership is now defunct, so your information in all these entries has been great.0

Hi, I sent a claim off early last week for Citroen via the claim form template that Martin has on here. Finance finished 2018 and was dealt with Via PSA. The email address that the claim form gave was
commissiondisclosure@stellantis-finance.com
I received an automated reply saying they were looking at my claim and would get back to me in due course.'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle'0 -
Quick update, this morning I received an email from Stellantis, confirming that the commission was added, and they will be in touch in due course. So it confirms that Stellantis are looking into claims from people that used PSA finance.'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle'0

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

No information on the interest rate. It says they've checked the records to see if any commission was paid to the dealer for the introduction and finance deal set up. And then they confirmed that commission was paid to the dealer.
Hopefully the contact details in my previous posts will help others who used PSA to find out if they had DCA or not'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle'0 -
No information on the interest rate. It says they've checked the records to see if any commission was paid to the dealer for the introduction and finance deal set up. And then they confirmed that commission was paid to the dealer.Commission is allowed. That is not the issue. DCA is when the dealer adjusted the interest rate to earn an extra commission. (adjusting it downwards to improve the rate is not an issue).
So, saying there was commission is not the same as saying that there was DCA.

Thank you for your replies.
Just to clarify things, this is what I referring to, which was in the email I received yesterday.
' After checking our records, we can tell you that we did pay a discretionary commission to the dealer. We'll treat your email as your complaint'
I'm not saying there will be anything repaid to us, but it's just a waiting game until decisions are made by the FCA.
