Barclays app message today !

On trying to open my Barclays mobile app this morning a message appeared reading -
'the ability to see your accounts held with other banking providers or to make payments from them will no longer be available from 15 April 2024'
What does this mean exactly? If I hold another bank account say Lloyds, that I cannot transfer money from my Lloyds a/c to my Barclays a/c ?
I'm a bit confused!
Any one else had this message and can any one clarify please?

I had same message just means from 15th April you won’t be able to see other accounts in the app I think payments from them not sure what that means1

This to me looks like they are removing the open banking option where you can view your accounts with other banking institutions within the Barclays app.In regards to when they say “making payments from them”, this is likely to mean that you won’t be able to move money from the Barclays app from an account held elsewhere via open banking, although I am guessing this as I haven’t seen that feature before when I did use open banking in the Barclays app previously.What I am certain about though is that this won’t affect your ability to move money from your Lloyds account to your Barclays account doing it through Lloyds.4

There are lots of uses for it - but I always found the idea of viewing one bank's accounts in another bank's app a bit odd!sausage_time said:
