At this rate they'll get a CCJ by default. Can you ring the court and try and find out what the situation is?

Is 29th August the date the letter was written or the date by which you need to acknowledge the form?

What exactly do you mean by this?

Was the letter written on 29th August 2024?

Or did what was written in the letter include the date "29 August 2024"? If so, exactly what did it say about that date?

Please can you type out the whole sentence because it's very hard to help when your responses aren't precise. If the sentence doesn't make sense to you, please type the whole paragraph. Identifying info excluded.

Better still scan or photo the letter minus identifying information.

Right, so if the letter was posted on 29 August, you have 14 days from 30 August in which to acknowledge the claim. Use this advice from Legal Beagles.

How to Acknowledge a Claim - LegalBeagles

Do not attempt to defend the claim at that time. Just indicate that you intend to do so.

You have 28 days from August 30.in which to defend the claim.

Once you've acknowledged the claim, you need to send the letter below.

CPR 31.14 Request for inspection of documents - LegalBeagles

That need to happen this weekend.

Acknowledgement online gives you 28 days.

Everything was sent in time. Given my circumstance what will be a good defence.
