There are 5 links to WS already; exactly where Keith signposted you to. We won't repeat them on individual threads as there's no need.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have now got a court hearing date. Funny enough dcblegal has sent me a mail asking me to pay a discounted rate..so we don't go to the hearing.
Should I respond to them or just ignore and meet them in court?1 -
It’s not going to court. They will discontinue. Do not respond to them.
Have you read this thread:DCB LEGAL RECORD OF PRIVATE PARKING COURT CLAIM DISCONTINUATIONS

I was thinking that they might bring it up saying, they also to settle outside but but I didn't engage..I was going to explain the situation maybe they would decide to cancel n not proceed.
But as you have said...I won't.. I will meet them in court if they should to proceed2 -
I got an email from DCBLegal yesterday saying this
Dear xxxxxxx xxxxxxx xxxxxxxx
We act for the Claimant in the above matter.
Our client has instructed us to discontinue Court proceedings and close our file. Therefore, please find enclosed the Claimant’s N279 Notice of Discontinuance for your records.
The attached has also been filed with the Court.
We will now proceed to close our file accordingly.
Kind Regards,

What a waste of time. Thank you guys for your love and support in this matter. Now I can now rest from their harassment.
I don't know why they have discontinued when we have gotten this far...lol. they were waiting for me to cough up money. Lol
Thanks again guy for all your hard work in reading my post . I do really appreciate you all.
Coupon-mad, Gr1pr,LDast and the others that I haven't mentioned. You guys are all wonderful. Thanks3 -
Well done. Once you receive the formal Notice of Discontinuation (N279) via the court, please post up a redacted copy, upon which I'll record and count your case in the DCB Legal Discontinuation thread. 👍Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
