The 8% savings account (£200 max pay in per month), is now only 6.50% for new customers. Has any existing customer had notification of a rate decrease? Hope not!

It's Flex REGULAR Saver. If they wanted to decrease the rate for existing customers now, there would be no need to create a new issue (Issue 3). This doesn't mean that they cannot do this later at some point. This is a board for current accounts. For savings there is Savings & investments board and a dedicated thread there for regular savers (see the last post at the bottom of the page and the following discussion).

Many banks/building societies' savings accounts have different issues.1 -
It's also worth noting that the account lifespan is limited to 12 months so it's not like those folks earning 8% are going to do so forever (and it's a variable rate anyway).

Can you have both the 8% one and the 6.5% one at the same time?
