Octopus Solar offer? Any negatives?

I've been doing a lot of research recently and it would appear that the problem with these offers is that the installation margins are wafer thin. There are more and more installers who are competing for these jobs, but are cutting corners wherever they can to get the business, but also ensure they don't make a loss. The end result is installers either try and "upsell" (hence the hard sales tactics experienced by some), or the quality of the installation is less than ideal. You get owt for nowt.

You have had solar etc for a while mate, so I'm assuming you want the less hassle option, which is just the 15p seg.michaels said:A question about Octopus SEG. I have moved my gas to Octopus and am hoping I no qualify for their SEG (any one know if you can get it if you are gas only?)
Given I have a battery system and PV and can export when I choose, am I likely to be better off with agile or 15p SEG?
And if you still have your v2g charger, assuming you are on a low off peak tarriff, why not export from it during the day alsoWest central Scotland
