Cahoot is a rubbish online experience overall. There is no dedicated app, so you can't get in without putting in user name and security number. When they send you a OTP it's 8 random characters long, impossible to memorise accurately and you can't even copy and paste. If you want to to open a new type of account, (e.g.Sunny Day) you can't do that simply within the existing (Simple Save) account. No you have to go through the entire interminable process of opening an account, proving who you are etc etc. Do they want people to save with them. Have they all been transported back to the 20th century. AArgh!0

As long as they have market leading accounts that they let me have (sometimes in multiples), with true instant 24x7 instant deposits and withdrawals, as well as near perfect availability, I can cope with their somewhat ancient website. I’d rather they spent their money on paying me interest than on a flashy app (and I am an app junky!) or website upgrades that result in outages.TheChoralFiend said:Cahoot is a rubbish online experience overall. The experience is clearly not the same for everybody but the good news is that nobody is forced to have a Cahoot account 😎8 -
Got to agree with friolento. There's plenty of slick apps out there that I don't use because they don't pay a competitive rate. I do use the 4.55% account quite regularly and often have a few k in there. The 8 character OTP is a bit of a faff but I can remember 4 at a time, and at least I can simply enter the lower case characters.1

I just use the Santander app and log in with my Cahoot details. Job done.2

Interesting, I wonder if this method would also work with Cater Allen?wiseonesomeofthetime said:I just use the Santander app and log in with my Cahoot details. Job done.0 -
When I login on the phone the OTP appears on the screen, I just click on it and I'm in. Very easy to login on the phone, but my preferred method is online - easier to operate.slinger2 said:Got to agree with friolento. Erm, how do you manage to get this to work exactly? If I try to use the santander app to connect to my cahoot account using the add another bank option, cahoot is sadly conspicuous by its absence in the list of available banks one can connect to.wiseonesomeofthetime said:I just use the Santander app and log in with my Cahoot details.
