Did you have your income paid into this account specifically? This is what usually trips the automated upgrade process. You may meet the income criteria but are not showing it in the account.

A cheeky question. Is it possible to request Premier Reward account from both Natwest and RBS - or are we only allowed to choose one of them?

Both, but again subject to proof of income available for each account at the time you request the upgrade.

For some reason I'd never heard of this account until now. We have a joint NatWest Reward account and given our joint income is over £120k it sounds like we'd be eligible for to upgrade it to a Premier Reward account for an extra £5/mo. The only potential issue is neither of us has our salaries paid into the account. So we can prove our income is over the threshold, we have the DDs, and we deposit the minimum of £1,250 each month already.

Interestingly the T&Cs don't even state you need to deposit your income(s) into the Premier Reward account - that limitation is only listed for the Graduate, Black, and Premier Reward Black accounts!

Do you think it's worth a try upgrading in the app or will it just be auto-rejected as our salaries don't get paid into the existing Reward account?
