sky broadband wireless setup help!?

cant do the wpa tkip bit??? i think im going to have to get someone to look at it for me! im getting too !!!!ed off now!

i think im over complicating things! I can get roter to work and can see other people's which i can connect to. Yes i know i shouldnt but it just won't display any webpages....it used to though!

ie, tools, internet options, connection, make sure never dial is selected, and advanced options are blank

hasnt got that option is says network key and then says data encryption wep or disable?

no changed the whole router and still have same prob

What do you mean you changed the whole router???

Are you not using the router Sky sent you?

if you are saying that wpa is not available in the drop down box on the laptop, then you may have a wireless adapter that either has old drivers, or doesn't support wpa. If so, change the encryption type on the router to wep instead, enter a key, enter the same key on laptop
