Light touch getting heavy touch?

What if the couple are both able to work but just like old times one decides to be a house wife or house husband?Yamor said:I'm not sure what you're disagreeing with me about?
I said that the one who is earning £1k-odd is correctly in light-touch.
If the other one is not being asked to look for work, it will be due to other reasons. Perhaps because they are the main carer for a young child, or a different reason.0 -
`This question was covered in great detail in a previous thread of yours over several pages. It was eventually closed. Though it was last year, the answers will be the same. Thread here.https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6458185/new-uc-rules-this-september/p1R200 said:

Maybe just focus on what is being asked of you and your partner and don't worry about anyone else's situation. You say you need to be earning more 'to get UC off your back', and you know why because it's all been explained to you. So just focus your energy and brainpower on doing what you have to do.R200 said:

If R200 pit as much effort into working, as he does to avoiding it ....
He'd probably be a millionaire

Why a second post with the same question?1

I understand that light touch now has work search requirements, to increase their hours. Not sure that they are going against any rules.0

There's been a lot in the press about needing people to work more due to not enough tax revenues to support all those not working. I fully expect things will get a lot heavier.3

So you are saying there has been a change?the_pink_panther_2 said:I understand that light touch now has work search requirements, to increase their hours. Not sure that they are going against any rules.
