But this is normal. I think you need to read other threads about claims from the same solicitor. They don't usually send no-one. They might send a legal rep as usual.
Just means Minster Baywatch themselves won't be there.
Also means you have a better chance as you will be heard! And can ask for attendance costs.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I will make the amendments, finalise and get the WS sent off this week.2 -
Gladstones submitted a skeleton defence to argue my compensation claim for loss of earnings and time spent writing & researching.
Re loss of earnings - they mention I did not submit proof of earnings.
Writing & researching - they mention as I mostly used a defence template found online so highly doubt I spent hours committed to the cause.
Do either of these points really matter? Do I need to submit further evidence?0 -
You don't mean a compensation claim?Surely you just mean they are trying to oppose your costs schedule. None of what they say matters but take proof of loss of salary or loss of leave with you to the hearing and ask for it at the end, when you win.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Hi guys, court next week. I'm currently implanting my case into my head. Just so it's fully clear to me on the day, bargepoles post regarding the court procedure states "The usual procedure is that the Claimant gives a summary of their case, then the Defendant gives a summary of theirs.".Is the format to summarise from the angle of my WS or the actual defence? I'd assume defence comes first, WS later?0

I've noticed in the Claimants WS they mention 'the Defendant is put to strict proof that he updated the V5 with DVLA' am I able to just bring the evidence on the day or must I submit it to both the claimant and courts? Bare in mind court day is Friday.0

What evidence do you have? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

My defence states although I did not update my DVLA prior to the first NTK, it was updated shortly after, and therefore correspondence after the fact should have been updated accordingly, as no response was received from my old address.
Altenatively, the claimant states there was no other evidence of another address, initial NTK was issued 6th September and my electoral roll details were confirmed updated at new address 5th September.
I have an email confirmation from DVLA which confirms the date in which I changed my details (16th of September) and a signed and dated letter from the electoral roll office confirming change of address.
The evidence is mostly to prove the fact a change of address took place at exactly the same time as the alleged parking offence.0
