This week I have bought some toiletries in B&M £3.74 and some spring water and a snack £2.25 in Sains before leaving for Cornwall. My total for the month so far, is £14.80. I used up as much as I could from my freezer and store cupboard beforehand, so that was a saving grace.
I am away on a training course Mon-Fri for a few weeks and it will be more of a struggle as I don't think I'll have a fridge and I definitely won't have any cooking facilities, really going to miss cooking a meal from scratch as more likely to eat junk.#4 DFBXMAS24 - £2,322.85/£5,000

9/9 NSDs so far this month.Eating from my freezer and cupboards now my house is on the market as I don't want to be packing food stuff when I move.
I do have fairly full cupboards and a fridge freezer, so this month will be definitely essentials only, as last month was.
Probably first shop will be next Tuesday fingers crossed

I think that has worked well this month ideally I’d like to be under it but we shall see. This total does include all household and toiletries so I guess it’s not bad.
£132.22 spent
Big Tesco shop plus small bits specific bits. CC seems ok so got some bits especially snacks that will last us more like 2-3 weeks so next weeks should be a lot smaller. That being said I think I’ll do another online shop for Thursday and none the following week as it’s half term. I do shopping on days when my husband is at home as I struggle to balance it all with my son.Edit
£227.78 left
This is from Lidl around £20 and the rest is Tesco. Next week is half term so I stocked up a bit as I don’t want to do a shop next week at all (small shop maybe for milk and bread)

Spend for February so far 96.64/350.00 apart from fridge and fresh veg I should be spending a lot less for rest of month cupboards and freezer full so I have no excuse. Need to bake a lot more this month as only just managed to stay in budget last month. Hope everyone is doing well

We're staying with my parents next week for half term so I've been using up everything in the fridge before we leave and not spending much as a result. I did buy 2 loaves of really nice sourdough to take with us as my mum can't tolerate normal bread but sourdough seems to not set her IBS off. She's got nowhere near her that does it so it's nice to be able to take something she'll appreciate. That's £9 spent so I'm up to £32.50/£250. I'll definitely need a big shop when we get back to replenish all the supplies.

A couple more shops today after visiting Spec Savers for an eye test. I went to H & B to collect a bulk/subscribe and save order of almond butter which cost £12.80.
While there I picked up some folic acid because I've recently tested very low and want to boost my levels. That's only £2.99 but it was 3 for 2 and looked around at what else I wanted and picked up a couple of no sugar chocolate bars I really like. The pills were the cheapest item so I got them for free but then the cashier told me I also had a £3.00 voucher on my account and so I used that too. I walked out only paying £3.58 for two big bars and the folic acid pills. Great results!!
Next was M & S where I grabbed some items for my lunch today and for the rest of the house. Minus the lunch costs, I spent £19.05 on yoghurt, bananas, strawberries, herbs, mushrooms, quiche, butter, and garlic.
£152.87 / £340.00 spent. £187.13 remaining.
We're still good on food for the most part and the fridge is packed. Only thing we may need next week is milk.
We're heading out to dinner tonight with family but we have a leftover slab of roast beef to work through over the next couple of days. I'll likely turn that into a pear, sliced beef, and roasted vegetable green salad for Saturday dinner and then a Thai yellow curry noodle soup for dinner on Sunday.
Have a good Friday night all!3 -
£10.40 spend to declare.
I bought 2 cartons of budget soya milk, wonky potatoes, pears, apples and oranges, a small block of cheese, small tub of flora that was on offer, plus tomatos, lettuce and half a cucumber that was reduced.
Ive little over £8 left and hope to save £5 for the bulk fund. Especially as I don't think I need much for the weekend.
Will declare if I do spend more.Decluttering campaign 2023

@PipneyJane - good to hear you are home from hospital. Hope you are resting and recuperating.I did an online shop with sains this week to take advantage of £18 off a £60 shop. I tried to buy items that aren't usually available in Lidls such as Yorkshire tea biscuit brew which is my mid morning treat. Sains don't deliver the shopping in bags so it just got unloaded onto the hall floor. Really didn't look like much for the money. Back to Lidls next week.
we do have some nice meals planned and plenty of fruit and veg just in case Michael Mosley wants to peek into my shopping basket 😉

Day 10 of February and so far 10/10 NSDs so £60.00 still intact for February
I'm really pleased as it means that the food mountain is being reduced in the fridge freezer and cupboards. Last night I had for dinner one of the portions of chicken provencal that I cooked a couple of weeks ago with some veg, also from the freezer and it was delicious.
I have a shopping list but I won't really do any until Tuesday after I've been to coffee morning I think at the moment it should come to roughly around £25. 00 odd. mainly essentials of stuff I'm running low on and fresh fruit and veg. I have been using up some of the tinned fruit the last couple of days for puddings so it will be nice to get some fresh stuff next week I am OK for potatoes but will definitely need some green veg and some salad stuff.
As DGD got me some nice blue stilton which is in the freezer I will get some broccoli and make some soup I think.Make a nice change from the chicken noodle and tomato soups that I'm just starting to run low on.
