So if I click on the link, will it reformat my computer and I'll lose everything on the HDD? I know a guy who for £30 takes off and puts new OS on, shall ask him or just click on link?cerebus said:Well there's your answer
Op you have to update your computer to windows 10 if you wish to continue using teams
This is the link to install windows
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
If you are not confident doing it yourself I would advise the use of a friend to help you
As with anything always back up your computer first before doing anything that changes things on your pc (you really should be doing this anyway)0 -
If you click on that link it takes you to the webpage where you can download Windows. It does not do anything to your computer. You go there and download Windows. If you choose to download Windows then you have the option of installing it. If you install it you have the option of formatting the hard drive as part of that process.textbook said:

Why would you pay a guy £30 to do something you can do yourself or ask a friend nicely for help withtextbook said:

I appreciate you're not very techy and you may be a little out of your depth but you must know someone who can help you for free? Paying someone should be a last resort.
The process simply is,
Click on link and download windows 10 to a usb stick
Change boot order on computer so it boots from usb first
Back up computer removing everything you want to keep onto a usb stick
Make a note of any programs you want to keep as you will need to download them again once windows 10 is installed
Turn off computer plug in usb stick with windows on and turn on computer , windows 10 will install and guide you through the process
If you get stuck or are unsure what windows is asking you to do during the install process then use Google on your phone to find out what it means

Are you sure you clicked 'Download' and not 'Update'? Because download shouldn't generate any of those errors?

Are you using the Microsoft website to create a bootable usb ?
Have you even got a usb stick plugged in when you try this?
This is not very mse , but you are clearly floundering around in the dark and seem to struggle to even use Google to assist, therefore I would pay somebody to install it for you0
