I discovered today, that £15 per month been taken out of my account for 9 months by this company. I have no recollection of  having signed up with them and was shocked at this ‘hidden’ monthly withdrawal from my account  When I contacted them they said it was relating to ‘money off’ offers and then asked if I wanted  to cancel  my membership ! Definitely! I also asked for a refund and was offered three months. I still have no idea what benefits I received or even when I signed up. Has anybody else had experience with this company?

To be fair if they've been taking the money for 9 months without you noticing, it's definitely a reminder to scrutinise your accounts more regularly. It sounds like one of those companies that when you've bought something a little pop-up window comes up offering you 'cashback' for signing up for some scheme or other for ongoing savings and cashback. I'd take the 3 months refund - and watch the statements going forwards like a hawk... Sometimes in the moment of making a purchase we don't (but should) pay enough attention to the various screens we are clicking through to get to the end of the process. They should be clearer - but it's down to us to read what's on the screen - but sometimes it's easier said than done. Fingers crossed you won't fall for it in the future.
  • How were the withdrawals 'hidden' in your account? Didn't they appear on your bank statements? If not, you need to contact your bank immediately to find out if they're hiding any more withdrawals from you.

It wasn't hidden , you should be checking your bank statements every month.

Count yourself lucky you have only lost £90 takee the refund and start checking your bank statements

Just out of interest what has this got to do with Tech? You need to repost this in a more approiate sub forum
  • Did anyone get a refund from this company? I’ve just notice 3 payments go out since mid November. Have notified the bank. Doesn’t seem to be anyway for tonight’s assistant to cancel the transaction. Going to speak to disputes first thing tomorrow. To be clear I have not signed up for anything.

Soooo many threads about this company:

The second thread has links to other threads too.

Basically, you get a pop up box after a purchase that offers you cashback.
But - it involves a monthly subscription.
