By 'be wary' do you mean know in advance when the price will drop, by psychic or other means?2 -
Sections 2.1.b and 2.2.b, I'd think.Alderbank said:
The OP buys two identical kitchen appliances from Very, paying the full asking price each time.Aylesbury_Duck said:
Isn't that fraudulent?Veteransaver said:If you've used it, can you buy another at the discounted price and send the new one back again but using the old receipt, assuming you can get a full refund in cash of course rather than a voucher.
The OP returns one of the appliances under the agreed T&Cs of the sale.
Doesn't sound fraudulent to me.
Here's the Fraud Act 2006. It's your claim. Which bit do you think the OP is breaching?

Maybe better wording would be to do some research before a large purchase to see if that vendor regularly has sales at certain times of year, or if the item in question is sold elsewhere regularly at a discount.Alderbank said:

One of the sites I've found useful previously is: https://uk.camelcamelcamel.com/product/B09BZR9JFG?context=search
Which helps track how often a product is discounted on Amazon and the highest/lowest expected price as well as allowing you to set price alerts when a product drops below a target price (other websites are available for other retailers, and the shopping board on here can also be of help):

That makes me think of a product I purchased at the supermarket which was not good at all. I was invited to leave a review on the manufacturer's website which I gave zero stars and my review began "Very disappointed..." The auto-bot responded on behalf of the manufacturer "Glad that Very resolved the issue to your satisfaction".jon81uk said:Very in that sentance is the name of the company, not the type of credit search.
So should read. Very (the company) hard credit check new account holders on setup, as they are a catalog store based on credit by default.
I do not believe that DGG is a bot.
Good idea just above this post to make use of CamelCamelCamel - I have used it in the past but fallen out of the habit.0
