Yeah I know it, it's that Aldi carpark behind ego.   Unfortunately they have updated the pofa text on the letter to add the 'pass to driver' bit recently.

My Mrs got one a few years back there, we lost to popla and then got debt collection letters for years from euro Car parks.  I believe Ego have a terminal in there for parking so might be able to scrub it if you had a meal there.  I live in the next town.  Good luck with these cowboys.

They also operate in places like Matalan with cameras.

I also got done by another cowboy operator at lymm services for an alleged overstay a couple of years back.  I defeated that one before popla by photos of the signs being rubbish.

Hope i can help in anyway.

OK - having paid for a copy of the title register, I can see that it's a private company that owns the land.

What's the best way of contacting them in cases like this?

Do I write to the directors / secretaries of the company at their individual published addresses?

Has anyone on the forums had experience of doing this?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
I remember for my Mrs appeal asking for proof of land owner authority on the popla appeal and getting a load of bull back.  That car park in my opinion is a cash machine for them.

Well, the appeal to the euro car parks has gone in.

    Thanks for all the advice.

I don't suppose there are any time restraints on them responding from this point forward?

According to the BPA COP (Version 8) section 23.8 they have to reply within 35 days.

    Turns out they didn't need quite that long;

Time between my submitting the appeal and receiving email rejection = 24 hours to the minute!

Laughingly, also received rejection in the post today which says, "Having carefully considered the supporting evidence..."

They considered it so carefully that they were able to reject within 24 hours. They must not have much on at the moment.

What was the outcome? Did it go as far as court?

There was a thread today in which the poster said it took two minutes for the PPC to "carefully consider" and then reject!

So, time for me to put in the appeal to POPLA.

I assume there are no issues at this point regarding identifying the driver? Or is the principle the same as the appeal to the PPC?

If you are relying on the fact that the PPC hasn't complied with the requirements of PoFA and so cannot hold the keeper liable, only the driver, then obviously you do not reveal the drivers identity.

You know whether the wording in the NTK is POFA compliant or not because my thread of NTK pictures is linked in the NEWBIES thread.
