Musicmagpie terrible Inconvenience

I write this message with a heavy heart the way I have been treated by this so-called Music Magpie as anyone here ever have to deal with refund issues with Music Magpie 
Because on the 15/11/23 I purchased iPhone 13 Pro in Prestine condition for £600 + postage £ 4.98 on a 24hr delivery , Music Magpie used Royal Mail as delivery courier  the courier makes 2 attempts to deliver parcel in the morning but I wasn’t in as you knows most people work in Morning, I was given option on tracking to have the phone delivered to a neighbour or redirected to my local post office ,I choose post office until today am yet to receive the phone or a refund , I was forced to purchase another phone  I informed Music Magpie I will need a  to be refunded my request as been ignored because I still haven’t been refunded on 9/1/24  I received email from music Magpie asking for my bank details to be refunded I ask Music Maggie what amount refund I will receive because there’s a court fee and of £70 added  to £600  because I have to take out small claims court and because of the inconvenience and incompetence service this as being dragging out way to long . On the 10/1/24 I received emails from Music Magpie that they need more time and the situation as been escalated and I will hear from them in near future can this be right I have as anyone here have a similar experience with the company

    I'm a bit confused.
    If you asked for the phone to be delivered to your local post office, what have they said to you about the parcel they should have for you?
    Have they lost it?
    Did Royal Mail ever deliver it to the post office?
  • They said it haven’t been delivered and there’s no scan to prove it further more Royal Mail one month investigation as confirming the package cannot been found and it’s as been recorded as lost , I was then sent a letter and email by Royal Mail to acknowledge this and as been told by Royal Mail to forward the letter to Music Magpie to get a replacement phone or a refund which I did on the 19/12/23 from the 19/12/2024 I been receiving conflicting information from Music Magpie agents until today I haven’t received back all the money I have paid this is why I have to take out small claim court Music Magpie have until end of month  but I cannot understand why this as ti dragged on so long makes no sense 
  • Anyone ever as to take this company to small claim court  or a similar and what was the outcome I am extremely confused and concerned how far this will be allows to continue 
    this issues as makes me quiet stressed how can this be allows to continue until today what kind of company treat customers like this it’s as been no fault of mine to having to deal with this incompetence and lack of accountability

    How much have you received from Music Magpie?
  • I have only received £4.98 for postage refund when I first complained about the delivery not turned up within the 24 hours  I should have received it until then I have been chasing my delivery from 16 November 2023 until today

    My order has not arrived. What do I do?

    We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible once they have been ordered. You will receive an email with your tracking reference number on it once the order has been dispatched.

    What have Music Magpie said about your package that has gone missing?
  • Music Magpie  as been telling me for a long while that the delivery is at the post office I then went out of my way one last time very frustrating I asked to speak with the Manager of the post office who advised me that no parcel as been delivered to the post office and that is a lie this was before Royal Mail as concluded the parcel cannot be found i was then  sent a letter and email Royal Mail advise me to sent me to Music Magpie for refund or the phone replacement from then it as been pure quietness from Music Magpie until on 9/01/24  Music Magpie asked for my bank detail  for refund and I asked what amount is the refund because I have taken out small claim court , on the 10/01/2024  Music Magpie tells me the case as been escalated and I will be hearing from them in the near future nothing else 
  • I have went through customer service I have spoken with quiet few agents as I say since November 15/11/23 most times I have been given conflicting information to saying the delivery is at the post office even though i  forwarded the Royal Mail acknowledging email of the lost parcel  customer service agent not doing follow up on previous outstanding communication in the emails chat causing such confusion and distress on my life

    It may be your reference to going to  the Small  Claims Court that has stalled the refund and the case has been referred to a higher department. 
  • Hi Sheramber the behaviour of Music Magpie iis despicable  this shouldn’t happen how can this be allows to continue until today I am without a phone or my hard earned money this is so wrong and the attitude of the customer service is unacceptable not have this problem resolved with immediate solution I have been waiting over two moths to get what belongs to be yet Music Magpie dragging its feet
