Exhibits 1-9 are meant to just be one exhibit because it's one document.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Ok, do you mean the 'judgement' file on dropbox? Because when drafting this WS I adapted citizen_K's exemplar WS to suit this case and a few of the images/judgements are duplicated in that - so i copied some of the relevant judgements from various courts involving UKPC to highlight their MO. Do i need to change it (please say no 🫣) so that it is back in its original form and reword the WS to suit?

Just use the link I posted here 28 August at 11:54AM as that is the latest one and read the other link as that gives some words from @Coupon-mad

Yep the judgments link is newer and the wording about Akande has been written for this purpose. No need to use older versions.

  • Ok...let me just get this straight so I dont go doing stupid stuff...its got to be sent tomorrow morning so will have to do all amendments after work tonight - When i reference the CEL v Chan and Akande Appeals, followed by the CC judgements and strike outs as exhibits in my WS, should I just copy and paste the whole "judgements" document as one exhibit then, and rewrite the WS to suit? Presumably it wouldn't do just to point the judge to a hypertext link for the dropbox docs...

You might get away with a hyperlink if you took the cases with you in triplicate to hand out at the hearing and raise as a preliminary matter that the claim should be struck out.

Have you linked us to an old version?

I don't understand why your WS (and the heading list below) still has several judgment exhibits instead of one:

01 Civil Enforcement of Ming Tak Chan Judgement……………….11
Exhibit 02 Parallel Parking vs Anon……………………………………………….15
Exhibit 03 Another Badly Pleaded Parking Claim 1………………………….16
Exhibit 04 Another Badly Pleaded Parking Claim 2………………………….17
Exhibit 05 Car Park Management v Charles Akande…………………………20
Exhibit 06 In the County Court at Luton……….….....…………………………24
Exhibit 07 In the County Court at Norwich………………………………….….26
Exhibit 08 In the County Court at Reading………………………………………28
Exhibit 09 In the County Court at Peterborough………………………..…… 29

Should just be Exhibit YOUR INITIALS 1

And you only need one paragraph about it pointing out that there are now TWO persuasive appeal cases etc.
