  • Just a quick one...recieved on Friday a copy of ukpc's directions questionnaire, but haven't yet recieved one from the CC to file for me/my wife?
Is this normal or have i missed a step, or are they just really slow? Tia

Normal. The timeline is in the first 12 steps in the Template Defence thread.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Email. To local court and the solicitor (not the claimant unless they themselves filed this claim of course)..

Read this morning's threads to see a WS being worked on right now, so you learn from that thread and don't make their mistakes.

    Thanks for the reply -
So, I cannot find any mention of the Solicitors representing UKPC in any of the correspondance I've recieved from them, or the county court - only reference is to UKPC themselves and the n180 they sent to me was signed by an SRA registered solicitor who works for UKPC, so I'm assuming they are bringing this themselves. Not that this really matters I think?
Anyway, just about to start the WS, does anyone have specific links to previous WS that I should be looking at? Have had a look at the ones mentioned in the newbies thread and can definitely prepare this one around those lines, but cant seem to find the ones CM mentioned in the above post (could be more to do with me not being great on forums tbh...)

Your N1 claim form indicates to me that they are dealing with it themselves under "address for correspondence, if different".  It does matter as you will need to send your WS to them by e-mail.
  • Thanks @Le_Kirk, the email address given under section B of the copy of DQ sent by UKPC was 'claims@ukparkingcontrol.com'. This is also where I sent my copy of DQ to, so assume this is where to send the WS bundle as well? its certainly not made explicit where to send anything (except in the communication from the courts) but common sense says the 'address for service' email address would make sense?
Have almost finished WS draft so will post up for pointers as to where it could be improved in a bit.
  • WS for advice/improvements etc, thanks in advance:

    Witness Statement xxxx.docx

P.S. for some reason the formatting done when shared through onedrive has screwed up the document a bit, so that the page numbers don't run right after pg 11. They do in the original.....

Para 32  -  "The £100 penalty clause is positively buried in small print, as seen on the signs in evidence"

Are you exhibiting these signs  -  can see no evidence in your WS that you have/are.
