The new DD is listed under the new and inactive but not sure if that’s coz it’s not been used yet. End of the day Feb had 2 taken DD’sdanny13579 said:
You just need 2 active direct debits. Payments don't need to be taken from them (though it makes it easier in a dispute if you have payments taken from them).Johnny-Cage said:Not sure if I’ve screwed up the bonus
opened in Jan 1 DD went out
Feb 2 DD’s went out
March only 1 DD was taken
Didn’t think 1 of the DD’s was min payment on a CC with interest free which ran out and I closed the account
I do have 2 DD’s back set up but it’s not due to be taken until 8th April now0 -
The date they clear.FIREmenow said:For the monthly cashback:I'm noticing that some card transactions take a long time to track on my TSB account, does TSB count them at the date the transaction is made, or the date they clear and show up on your statement?
Calendar month.FIREmenow said:Also, is it a month from account opening or a calendar month?
Don't know as I don't use digital wallets, but don't see why they would. Most transactions for me take 2 working days to clear, but a couple have taken 4 working days.FIREmenow said:Finally, does using your card via a digital wallet (Google Pay) mean the transactions take longer to clear and appear on the statement than using the physical card?1 -
1) Date posted on statement,
2) Calendar month,
3) Dunno

In theory no, it should process the same - however merchants do slightly bodgey things sometimes which means things like this process differently (see in the news today that Sainsburys are unable to take contactless payments but can still accept Chip & PIN for example, clearly there's a difference in how JS process each even though there needn't be).FIREmenow said:Finally, does using your card via a digital wallet (Google Pay) mean the transactions take longer to clear and appear on the statement than using the physical card?0 -
Hmm, looks like I missed out last month because I split a shop in a supermarket into two payments, but only one is showing on my statement. Dunno if I can find the receipt to tell if they've merged them (because they were so close together), or they've not charged me for one!

Thanks for all your replies on my previous questions, I didn't see them until after I posted above.

I'm in the same boat as you. Setup Plum and Moneybox DDs, but only 2 DDs came out and then I accidentally cancelled them by setting the same Plum / Moneybox accounts for Co-op bank instead.Johnny-Cage said:Not sure if I’ve screwed up the bonus

I believe the switch incentive is due to be paid either this week or next, anyone seen any signs yet?0

Watching with interest this thread, it's due to be paid between 20th and 29th March.Khaderbhai said:I believe the switch incentive is due to be paid either this week or next, anyone seen any signs yet?
I'm not sure if we'll get the incentive (me and OH) as we've had an incentive before from them, hoping it was pre their time frame for paying out. I took a wild guess at that, it's why I record all switch dates now.😁2 -
I came to see if anyone else had received the switch bonus too but seems not yet, fingers crossed for tomorrow!Khaderbhai said:I believe the switch incentive is due to be paid either this week or next, anyone seen any signs yet?1
