Does anyone know if claiming for CURRENT car finance is possible?"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -

There is no "claim", if the deal was after 28/1/21 then no you have no complaint; if it was before that, IF the firm used DCA and IF it applied to you, you may get some compensation (note, you will almost certainly not get anything more then a refund of what you qualified for vs what they offered)Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Hi. I have used the tool to send an email to FIAT Car Finance. This was for 3 cars, all bought from a Stoneacre dealership in Worksop on PCP finance. All between 2015 to 2020. Not had any reply yet. Also, my wife has sent an email to Motonovo for 2 cars bought on normal finance from Carshop in Doncaster. She hasn't had a reply back yet either. Fingers crossed for an update soon.

The FCA has suspended complaints about discretionary interest. Firms are not required to investigate or do anything about them. Although some my reject complaints if they didn't have discretionary interest and don't need to wait until the FCA have completed their review.
The FCA review is due to be completed by September and a report issued at that time.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Yet, I have seen some reports from people saying they got a response from the emails they sent. IE some people have been answered, or been told their complaint has been registered.

45 week?
is that the norm?
", in respect of complaints concerning motor finance agreements with discretionary commission arrangements, the date that we must issue you with a final response has been delayed by 45 weeks."0
