If you bought a car or van on motor finance and you think you were overcharged, you could be due a payout as a major mis-selling investigation has been launched. MoneySavingExpert.com founder Martin Lewis is also warning anyone who thinks they're affected to lodge a new complaint now, so it's in the queue for when any action is taken.

So when it says complain to "your provider" - I assume that means the finance provider ?

Bought a vehicle in 2016 on PcP and while I wouldnt claim I was mis-sold whatsoever, if there were irregularities underlying the arrangement, then I would be interested in exploring

The result of how buyers are manipulated as soon as dealers start talking about 'monthly affordability' and not the price of a car.

indeed.  The ambulance chasing law firms have been baying for this.

  • I bought a car in 2012 and had car finance through the dealership. I have no documentation anymore due to it being so long ago. All I have is an email saying thank you for buying a car with us. Is there anyway I could request the documents from the dealership? They have now changed from polar ford to trust ford.
    Help needed

You can of course ask, but the chances are the dealership will have (or claim to have) no record of the finance deal.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

I thought I was finally in line for some free money when I read the clickbait.
Turns out I needed this "finance" thing rather than just saving up for years and buying it...
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
