I’m pleased you’re going for early retirement. It was a bit of a shock to my system when I had to but I soon got used to the idea. That said I felt much happier once I got my state pension 👍
I’ve just found a programme on channel 4 and thought of you. It’s called something like The Big Tiny Challenge. Look it up before the tv goes 👍 Dh found it by chance.January spends - £587.581 -
Thanks for the Deer Run it looks very interesting & not as roomy as most things like that. If I had a mansion I would have a gym, but would I actually use it? Always the problem.1

Yesterday was mainly spent decluttering and moving clutter from one space to another which is annoying. I did get some washing done and a final coat of paint on the bedroom door. I didn’t get to do the inside of the wardrobe because I was too tired. I think I’ve overdone it this week so went to bed early last night.
Today I got rid of some of the toys so one bag of clutter has gone 🥳🍾🥳and I also did my ironing and had a good tidy round. The carpet man came and measured up and I should get an email with a price in the next few days, they can’t fit it for four weeks though which is frustrating but that does give me time to finish sorting the wardrobe and I’m quite cosy in the spare room so all is good, I just want to get back in there because it’s looking so nice and will look lovely when it’s got a new carpet. I’ve just got to find some curtains now which I’m dreading, I hate shopping for curtains as I can never find any I like. I’ve got some temporary ones from Ikea I can use but they don’t block enough light so no good long term. I washed and ironed them today so they are ready to hang if I can’t find anything. They are meant for the hall so will be too long but will do as a temporary measure.
Tomorrow I’m going to see my mum but on the way there I’m going to drop off the other two bags of toys at the charity shop, I then just have 6 bags of books to get rid of which is every book I own that I’ve read ……I’m being completely ruthless 😀I don’t read books more than once and they just collect dust so they are going. I can’t wait until it’s all gone. There is some more stuff in the loft but I’m having a break before I get all that down. My recycle bin is so full I can’t get anything else in it, luckily it gets emptied on Thursday 😀
I did spend a little bit of time sitting in the garden today in the sunshine. There were lots of little birds on my bird table and they are being brave and flying down even though I’m sitting there which is lovely. The squirrels are getting used to me being outside too and don’t run away anymore unless I walk towards them , they will quite happily sit on the peanut feeder while I’m sitting at the tableOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1205 -
Have a think about selling your books if you are looking for a little cash - if its light you take it to a shop or parcel place, if its heavy they come collect it. Doesn't take long to do, even quicker if you have the app as you scan the bar code rather than type it. I used to have mus!c magp!e and z!ff!t open on the computer, try the bar code in each (type into one, highlight, press 'control' button and 'c' or mouse click copy whichever you prefer, see how much that one is offering, go to the other one, click in the bar code box, control and v or mouse click paste), see how much that one offers. Delete it out of the lower paying one.
We've had times weve got 50quid from each of them, just last week I've sent off a little box for 8quid. Latterly I've just been using zft which is now we buy any books.
If you want rid of the books, any that both of them don't want just get rid of, I've tended to keep the leftovers and try them again another time as what they want changes all the time.

Hi OBL , I just wondered if you would be eligible for SSP or universal credit to top up your half pay , your wages department may help with this ?2
