I was interviewing last week and the candidate burst into tears, we handed her a tissue and gave her 5 mins. Most of us are human !Sealed pot challenge 822

I'm too tired to type a lot after spending the last two days interviewing myself non stop In my sleep 🥴😴😴😴😴😎 however I went to the interview I'm far more excited about this job than the other one I pulled out of. If my pizza that I've ordered perks me up I might be back to elaborate on the interview 🤣 but I might not. But big news was I knew all interviewers and they were all nice and one told me there is a permanent full time position...I would rather permanent. Not sure about full time. But perhaps it might be ok 🤔 the extra wages would be nice. Right anyway eyes so tired I'm off to lose myself in a movie with a pizza slice in hand.Emergency Fund goal - £717.77/1500

keeping everything crossed for a quick response. Even if unsuccessful id rather just know quickly.
it could be that (if its offered and if you decide to take it) it will be less stressful so full time would be actually very copeable with compared to what you've been doing. Short term its more money, more going into pension and longer term you can always keep an eye on other jobs or apply to go part time or job share with someone.
Enjoy your pizza

Thanks @daisy_1571 I hope to find out tomorrow - they have said they will contact me tomorrow. I know they're still interviewing tomorrow though and we shut down tomorrow afternoon, so they best make their decisions quick 🤣.
Pizza was a bit cold when we got it but it went down okay. Nice and easy. Far better when we collect as it is hot 🔥 but it was pouring with rain and I couldn't be bothered 😁. No cleaning up either so win win.
I am still super tired. I have one day left before hols so I'm tempted to just go and give in and sleep right now. Only a few more hours to go and then I intend on resting LOTS over the hols. Need a real reset before new year 🎉🙂.
Just got myself a £50 m&s voucher from a reward from work. I was going to trade the rewards in for SM vouchers then thought nah, I'm having £50 guilt free for myself 😌☺️. Nothing I really need so will be fun to go and see if there is anything I fancy.Emergency Fund goal - £717.77/1500

Well done on getting the interview to start with, and fingers crossed. Maybe wait for the sales with your voucher and you will get more with it hopefully.
Just a few more hours of work and then enjoy your holidays and the rest

Afternoon all, really really short day today, tutor let the kids go early as honestly I think she had had enough. She was feeling as rough as I was. I had my phone on me all morning, then a student said can you play a game with me? Suuuuuuuuuuure! I said, and turned my phone over. In those two minutes of playing noughts and crosses i missed a call 😏of course. I couldn't ring it back as it would have gone to switch board and I wasn't sure who was in charge of hiring and recruitment or if it would be someone else calling. So I had to wait, again. An agonising fifteen minutes, and then when I answered, my signal was really bad. Ughhhhhhhhh noooo, so I ran down some stairs and to a window
hanging out to hear the news- I got the job!!! Full time, permanent position, can I hand my notice in immediately, they're all looking forward to working with me
I didn't hear much more as it was still in and out of signal.
Anyway back home, I wrote my resignation, thankfully DP spotted my mistake of- 18th Jan 2025 2026 will be my last day, sent to my big boss, line manager, new boss and HR
feels like the end of an era. Even though I am staying in the same place. I feel mild panic that I am incapable of doing what I said I could, i.e being organised with paperwork, I mean we all fib a little, right? Wait till they see the scatterbrain me
hopefully not a deal breaker and I can learn quick.
So that is the term done! I will have just two weeks left of this job now!!
I am going back to work later on for the christmas party (i.e free food and sweets and cocktails) then back home to hunker down as really struggling with my chest, I slept an epic sleep last night -7.30pm to 7am and woke maybe three times coughing but i should feel refreshed and I don't. Meh. Poxy bugs can do one I would like to enjoy my Christmas bug free!Emergency Fund goal - £717.77/1500
