I swam! Gold star for me ⭐ !
Too hot in the sauna today for me, I was having horrible heart palpitations and feeling a bit woozy. I really pray I am NOT coming down with something right before Xmas 😬.
Need to go two more times this week and for the rest of the month at least 2 times a week to have made the membership worthwhile. Wednesday is the next day I've earmarked for the gym. In fact I might see if I can get a class in. -I'm on the waiting list. You have to be so quick to get a slot. I'll swim or gym if I can't get on that.
DD told me she's spoken to her dad. She asked about DS - her brother. And dad said that he doesn't feel comfortable talking about it and it's for DS to come to her. All she asked was, is he alright? Ex is digging himself a hole i think. Everyone aside from his new gf and ds think he's being despicable not only to me but to DD. Anyway I won't say any more. I'm really trying hard not to bring this energy to my diary. I just fear for DD as I think she'll end up arguing with them all over Xmas and her new year will be ruined.
Leftover curry for dinner, because, I CBA mood 😂. Thanks to weekend DFW for cooking it 🤣. Deffo a NSD too as I'm hunkered down for the evening now.
Edited to add- we've made £50! Selling one of those items we were accidentally sent instead of wardrobes. We had to open the box find instructions to get a picture of it, which we finally did at the weekend and it's sold 😃 we could have probably priced higher but it was a big box and we just wanted it gone! That counteracts the spends I had at the weekend ⭐👏.
Also contacted my GP for a referral to get heart checked. It's been playing up for too long now and after cousin has just had her heart surgery and was telling me her symptoms when I went to see her I literally checked every one off as she was saying them 🙈. Don't want to come across as hypochondriac but we have lots of heart problems in the family and this breathlessness and palpitations and skipped beats as well as dizzy spells becoming too frequent. Had one at work today and nearly went over so would rather get checked out and rule out anything serious (then we can go back to blaming meno for it. That's my fave to blame 🤭🤣). Hopefully Dr won't see me as hypochondriac. One doctor called me it once and I've never trusted them since 🙈 .

Yaay for the interview 😊👏
I didn’t suppose anyone else will have done much more prep than you if everyone else is getting as little notice as you of the interviews 😊
That boss-person sounds like a rude idiot and well worth avoiding in future if possible 🙄
Glad DD apologised and good on DP for insisting on it!KKAs at 15.12.25:

Evening all,
I feel super tired again. Really do not like these dark days.
Work was alright. I was super duper cold though after I made the faux pas of having a hot flush at 8:25 as I was leaving the house and running to get changed and neglecting to bring a suitable coat or jumper. I fitted right in with the students today rather than the staff in unsuitable clothing for the weather 🙈 several staff were like - are you not cold. 🥶 Umm yes. Yes I was.
🤦🏻♀️🤣.
I now have sniffles. Bah humbug.
Anyway I've done some interview prep I'm hoping it's enough..I'll take another look tomorrow but feel a little more at ease today with it. It's all the safeguarding and prevent and other training that I have done but can't recall absolutely everything that I'm panicking most about. The rest is just talking about my experiences which I can do ok. I think 🤔 🤣
I've been on co pilot and unashamedly got it to interview me after sharing the job spec, I did ok and the bits I fell short I have asked for model answers and printed them off. I might be able to sleep later now last night I had the interview going over and over in my head. I don't like interviews if you haven't already guessed 🤣 I would rather sit a two hour maths exam.
Right anyhow I best go feed myself I'm feeling a bit hungry 😁.Emergency Fund goal - £717.77/1500

Evening all, thank you @beanielou @Queen_of_the_Hive @ladybird1106
My interview is tomorrow lunchtime 😬 I'm already feeling like I'm not prepared and want to pull out. I've done some prep but well, I guess what will be will be at this point. I will go.
I woke up this morning really heavy headed. I've got a chill from yesterday at work- for sure 🥶!! so this morning I went to the sauna and aqua aerobics (gave like 25% of my usual enthusiasm - on purpose I didn't want to exhaust myself) then went to the sauna again..I can't seem to warm up. I've never done half hour before and been okay in there 😱🥵 today I did twenty minutes before aqua and half hour after.
Had lunch with my friend, she almost flaked off on me and I suggested I drive to her village as her husband is on end of life so I understand she can't leave him long. The nurse never turned up. So I drove to her and omg she looked ten years older she looks so tired and unkempt. She's always got nice clothes on, hair done and make up on. Today she looked exhausted and like she needed a good sleep and a day off from it all. I tried to cheer her up but, I mean, what can you say to someone in her situation. Anyway we had a nice enough lunch and exchanged gifts.
I drove home feeling a bit dizzy and tired tbh. Kinda collapsed on the sofa when I got in then remembered I needed to prep some more for my interview. Straight on to co-pilot. But I think I'm now over thinking it and stressing too much. I'm also working all morning and will have to ask to leave a tad earlier to lunch and then use lunch break for interview..😬 ugh ...why couldn't the interview be on my day off. I've printed notes off and some Star ⭐ things that it suggested from real life scenarios I gave it. I'm just not good with thinking on the spot.
Anyhow, 🙈 moving on from that anxiety attack waiting to happen, I have only two days left at work until I'm off for two weeks so I'm going to push through even though my chest crackles, I'm exhausted and dizzy and really feeling sorry for myself today and hate interviews. 🤣
Lunch was paid for with cash we made so nothing from my budget. I did stop at Mr T on the way home and grabbed some fruit and salad bits. Also some new tights I will try and make an effort tomorrow rather than wearing my usual Thursday attire. I didn't bother with another work social this evening, I mean how many do we need? I'm aware I sound so antisocial and miserable. I am both of those tbh right now 🤣🙈. Oh and not to panic anyone else but Christmas is next week 😱🫣.Emergency Fund goal - £717.77/1500

Your work will allow you time off further interview, you shouldn't need to use your lunch break ?
Anyway, put it out your mind now. You can do the job, you are a perfectly capable person who has held down many stressful jobs dealing with pupils, colleagues, customers, authority, officialdom, underlings, differing work practices, training others, undertaking your own training, competing priorities, challenging behaviour. And thats just in various jobs!
Good luck tomorrow, I hope that if you find you want the job you get offered it

There were only four slots 🥴 one at lunchtime one I think later on in the day when I felt I would be past my best 🫣 and two on Fri when I'm in completely the wrong campus so I opted for the lunchtime one. It might well fall in lesson time anyway as Thursday's are a bit ad hoc and anything goes kind of day. I'll speak to the tutor in morning and make sure I get away in good time to take a breather before I have it. I just want it out the way now tbh 🙈 and I'm glad I chose that one as it was first one on the list. I'll eat afterwards if I'm up to it. Hopefully the nerves will have left me by then 🤣.daisy_1571 said:Your work will allow you time off further interview, you shouldn't need to use your lunch break ?

Thank you xxx
My DP keeps saying the same that I've had more stressful jobs / more responsibility etc but I really don't like interviews. Hate being judged on what I say as I have a tendency to just ramble on and on when nervous 😁🤭. Let's hope I hit a few points in doing so.Emergency Fund goal - £717.77/1500

Everyone is nervous at interviews. It’s part of the process and what interviewers expect. I have blank moments, foot in mouth moments, complete waffle moments but my hit rate after interviews for offers is c. 90% 😊
This is a job you’d like and you would be good at. Go in remembering that and also remember that you are also interviewing them and whether the role is a good fit for you 😊
We believe in you 😊
