If you do buy one, get a usb C to usb C data lead (or a usb A to USB C adaptor) so you can transfer everything to the new one when you first set it up.

You can transfer everything by bluetooth, but it takes several hours (guess how I know....)
You can transfer everything over wi-fi, it takes about 30 mins.

I can't remember what I did apart from follow the prompts. I do remember that I spent what seemed like many hours wishing I had a usb C to usb C lead ready when it arrived!

And, of course, after all this happened I then remembered that there was a usb A to usb C adaptor in the box for my portable hard drive......

I was sure that when I bought a tablet, it mirrored the 'phone from a google backup over the wifi by itself whilst I was playing with it, I don't know why the 'phone took so long and was inoperable until it completed.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))

That's a g14 not a g84 and the g14 is currently £129.99 most places  (but you can get it for £116.91 direct from motorola if you get the 10% discount coupon for registering- including 12 months accidental screen damage cover, and they don't try and sign you up to a minimum £10 a month plan....)

You can get the G84 for £175 using Perks at Work. I got 2, for myself and wife.

  • £189.90

When I looked at that link just now it came up as £199.80, so don't know if that's a typo or if it's just gone up

BTW the Amazon £199 offer linked to above is also now unavailable

It looks like the 5% discount is no longer available. Box is a reputable retailer, though.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
