Oh that does sound like a great garage, so annoying when all these things break at once. Small steps, decluttering and staying on track sound like great plans!1

We also had one thing after the other break...sometimes that is just how it goes isn't it! Do you have an emergency fund? I didn't have one at the time and had to take it from our renovation funds which depleted very quickly with guttering needing doing, fish pond filters need replacing and other things, I hope you have had your run of things now and you turn a corner where things start evening out and stop breaking!

@ debtfreewannabe321 I hope the run of things has ended! Thank you! I never had flea issues like this before! He’s a complete fluff ball though. I’m fighting the good fight! Emergency fund is minimal and seems to be wiped out atm. I’m still hopeful on this debt free journey! Thanks for your support ❤️BudgetingBelinda said:Sooooo… I’m in the middle of everything breaking. Soooo….
toilet fixed… but was a mission, another bathroom leak found. Again 😩💵💰 more money gone. Wipers on car still not fixed- hopefully this week. Washing machine broken. It really gets you down when you can’t drive in the rain, flush your toilet or do your washing and you’re having to run a dehumidifier and heater to get rid of damp from the 4th leak from your bathroom!!!
anyway… as builder is in doing some work I’ve had to de clutter the hallway/access. So that’s a small win. Other hallway super cluttered but getting rid of lots of unwanted things. I sent £60/1 step to DMP debt taking me up to 39/100. It will be a miracle if I get to 40 steps this month! Going to try and budget way hard on groceries/activities/ no take away… etc. I want that 40 steps done by end of month! May be possible even amongst this absolute chaos of life/house/car nonsense. This is where I need to dig deep and keep on track.. more than ever.Rooting for us on our debt free journeys, it’s not easy especially when these things all hit. But staying afloat and keeping determined and counting small steps… if not possible with £’s then with actions, decluttering, plans and self care 🎉🤞🏼❤️Emergency Fund: 1000/2000April Grocery Challenge: 150/550

I’ve just sent another step! Not quite sure I can afford it?! I just need to stay on target though and love the feeling of now being at 40/100 steps. In a few days 47.5/100 steps and then another little push next month of 2.5 steps I’ll be halfway to paying that debt off! Car in garage today 😵💫 but hopefully that is not going to cost too much now! Budget on groceries (as ever) is going to be my priority 🤞🏼🎉👌🏼✅Emergency Fund: 1000/2000April Grocery Challenge: 150/550

47.5 steps.
car went to garage and did cost quite a bit, building work cost a bit too. Quite a tricky month financially, most tricky since Jan. Don’t think I’ll get to 50 % paid off before June. Need a new washing machine. Every month one thing goes wrong/breaks but the last little while it’s been more than one thing and it’s *quite* (grits teeth) annoying!Oh well I’ll keep on trying! Still getting there, slow n steady. Hopefully no more bad luck with the car/house 🫣🤞🏼Emergency Fund: 1000/2000April Grocery Challenge: 150/550

I have everything crossed, amazing to get those extra steps! I just bought a new washing machine from A0, paid £349 for the machine, removal of old one and delivery, would have been more to have it installed though. It has done three washes so far, and honestly it is amazing! I don't think we realised just how bad our old one was! There were cheaper option available from there too.2
